Walked over here tonight in the rain, first night in oakland. I didnt even get to the menu. Bad attitudes, bad service. I smell hipster arrogance. Hard pass. I will never go here again. A waste of time and energy to be insulted. What is it? No thanks. Train your workers to serve the customers and answer direct questions like how much with 4.99 not look at the menu. Just bad service.

I ordered two regular tacos with steak and no onions. Sorta expensive, but they tasted great and the size was reasonable. Their hot salsa (I think it was salsa?) went incredible with it. It was enough to make me full. Good food!
Of course, Maya Halal is not really a restaurant, but a take-out place. There was seating outside, but only three small tables, which were not in great condition. So, (while the employees were polite), you aren’t really getting any service or atmosphere here. Overall, 4/5.

The food taste great but the Workers that take orders have horrible customer service. I have never seen anything like it. However the food is amazing

Try this place out for the first time because a coworker told me that the food was good. Went by to get a chicken burrito super when I got the burrito the burrito had too many beans on it with the bean juice no sour cream very little chicken and when I called the manager back to let him know that I had no sour cream very little cheese too as well. He gave me attitude. I would never go back to this place again and I will tell all my friends not to go here step your game up quit cheating people, Out of Chicken and sour cream……..And the beans was too salty
