The store locks its street doors, you have to enter through the parking lot. The kiosk printed a blank receipt, interior was really dirty.

It has improved a lot. They let a family used the toilet when they were about to close, not sending them to look desperately for a bathroom in downtown Oakland. KUDOS to the management.

For the area and the amount of people in it which mc donalds can't do anything about I felt the service was excellent there's no homeless outside asking for money it does NOT smell of piss big difference from the rest of the city. So I am very happy with that specific McDonald's.

I ordered using the kiosk, but it doesn't print the receipt, so I didn't know my order number. The worker was pretty busy but helped me after waiting 10 minutes.
They put up stuff like chickens to create an atmosphere, but the students and homeless people made it unpleasant.

0*0 service they don't give us what we order just they Make there self buzy without anything that's why they didn't alot of mistake in order bad service. Before l orde, l asked her do you have happy meal with Minecraft box? She say yes and l ordered but she gives us regular box and l ask her to change the box she say we don't have and my coffee order was middle Carmel frappe, she gives me small mocha... disappointed 😞😞☹️☹️ with my son happy meal and my coffee

Beautiful SF Bay views from South side of and an indoor play place for kids almost makes up for it being what I consider below average for the chain. The corporate decision to replace human cashiers/ customer service with an ordering ap and kiosks and to prioritize drive-thru over dine-in seems is, in my opinion, a great disservice to pedestrian and bicyclist clientele. This is especially notable when the location is across from a state beach, pedestrian and bicycle trails, and adjecent to a shopping center.
Unless I am desperately hungry, I would not consider dining at a place where I am not acknowledged or greeted within 30 seconds of approaching a service counter without a very good excuse and at least a basic apology for lack of service.
