Mendo TO GO (Oakland)

This is my favorite place to order from BUT the management is fumbling its success. They get tons of orders but are always severely understaffed in the kitchen. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES. Sometimes sandwiches will take an hour to make.

I ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 hour 15 mins later they’ve yet to make it. I can’t tell if there’s actually just nobody there. Nobody picks up the phone either and there’s nobody to ask. It’s just 10 minutes of Mendocino ads

I ordered 23 boxed sandwiches for a lunch meeting. Food was fabulous - fresh, great ingredients , wonderful flavors, and it wasn’t heavy yet filling. Each box was labeled with the type of sandwich, so no guessing. Delivery was prompt. Would definitely order again.

Last week I ordered 3 tofu banh mi and 1 happy hippie sandwich.
I had raved about the bahn mi to my family as this is what I usually order and was excited for them to try it. However all three were extremely salty and ended up eating something else. Happy hippie was great though

I ordered the happy hippie again today and it's been over an hour - still haven't received it. I have always loved Mendocino farms but it's becoming inconsistent/unreliable

This location in Oakland is an Uber hub and no a store- it is brutal- just tons of drivers waiting around, over worked staff . Avoid at all costs

Found my $14 sandwich missing when I got home. There was no one there to help, it was literally a locker.

Update: customer service took care of me after seeing my review. I wish there was a way to contact them more easily, for example a link in the order notifications.

Definitely won't be ordering from here again. It took 2+ hours to get my salad and thats all I ordered. Very disappointing as their food is typically good.

I won't be ordering from this place again. Ordered on doordash and waited for over an hour before getting my food. For a simple pasta salad and some chips, I should have gotten this in 30 mins or less.

Food is consistently high quality and fresh, but that’s where the superlatives end. Everything else is hit-or-miss.I order here regularly through Doordash. The price of a caesar salad with chicken, before delivery and service fees, is nearly $18, so at that price one would expect not only consistently high quality food, but also fast, efficient, and accurate service. Not so. On average, the food takes much longer to prepare than other similar spots, and the quantities are really inconsistent. Sometimes I get too many of one ingredient, sometimes not enough, sometimes they forget something, and sometimes I get an entirely different item than the one I ordered. Today was a fairly good day. Tomorrow? Who knows.

Waited entirely too long for an order that was placed right at opening. I only tried this location out because I’ve been a super fan of m farms for years ( my go to salad place) and there isn’t one close to my home now that I’ve moved. I happened to be in Berkeley for an appt so ordered from here. Ordered two salads and sandwich exactly at opening and it took 45 plus minutes to receive. Next time I’ll just drive to a retail location.

It took well over an hour to get the salad I ordered tonight. A few weeks ago I ordered a sandwich that took almost as long. Take out should never take this long. I also should not have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes for someone to show up at the take out counter to pick up my food once my order is ready. This place is obviously not able to handle the amount of orders they are receiving. This will be my last attempt at ordering here.
