Delicious food and great service

Messob is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant; it is my go-to when I’m craving authentic, delicious Ethiopian food. My top favorite dishes are Kitfo, kuanta Firfir, if you’re looking for spicy 🌶️, and the fried fish with Messer wote. The veggie combo is yummy too. It is also a good choice for ordering takeout food when visiting family or friends. They will beautifully pack it; the presentation is colorful if you order veggie combo dishes, and you can request a Messob (an Ethiopian basket used for family-style eating; *need to be returned). I regularly use them for catering, too, for holidays and gatherings. Don't forget to try their honey wine; don't let the sweetness fool you.

I ordered doro tibs with a side of missir wot. The tibs were bone dry and oily at the same time. The missir wot did not taste fresh. Lastly, I found a long gray hair in my food.

This is our go to Ethiopian! Love everything they make but usually get the vegetarian sampler with butecha and mushrooms.

Outstanding customer service where anyone feels at home. The assortment of dishes ensure there is always some choice for a customer. I highly recommend this place!

We had lunch here today as recommended by our daughter. It was perfect for us. Lots of vegetarian options with great flavors. We ate the lentil-stuffed sambusa too fast to take a picture. We shared the vegetarian combo with buticha (chickpea dip). We also enjoyed their Ethiopian beer and honey wine.

We've been going here for awhile, just ate here tonight and the food is consistently good. We usually get the banatu, special kitfo and doro tibs (not that spicy so my youngest kid likes it). Just wish they had an extra sink to wash your hands. We appreciate the good service & food and look forward to coming back again.
