I was here for about five minutes, but the taste of the cookie milk & cookies is enough for me to give this place 5 stars this time. Not too sweet or rich (I do have a sweet tooth so that opinion is probably skewed) and I liked the simplicity of my single scoop. It was enough for me to get my fix and didn't make me feel awful afterwards. I didn't try the other flavors but they seemed like a fresh departure from the usual combinations of other ice cream spots. Also, from the utensils, bowls, and sample spoons they use it seems like this place is environmentally friendly which is a plus. The staff were friendly and approachable too. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

Great flavor options, friendly service, delicious ice cream. I had the Blood Orange fennel crunch and Shrikhand, both were really good!

Delicious local ice cream shop in downtown Oakland! Highly recommend you try their seasonal flavors but even their vanilla bean was excellent.Best flavor we tried was the qawah which is a middle eastern style coffee with cardamom; very unique and delicious flavor.

As a big ice cream fan, I was excited to try this place. This place replaced Little Big Giant Ice Cream. Came here with my son and they have a lot of different/unique flavors. I got two flavors the Shrikhand and the Lychee rose. I like both flavors, but I felt that both ice creams were over churned. I also sampled a bunch of flavors as well. I can tell they make their own batches. One of the flavors I wanted to try they said it came out bad so they couldn't sell it. Overall I was not impressed to come back again and again. The pricing was standard for ice cream ships nowadays. Located in the Uptown area, parking it relatively easy to find. Street parking. DO NOT park in the lot, the homeless pretend to be the monitors of the lot. I did enjoy the flavors they provided. Customer service was good too.

let's get straight to the pint here! as far as i'm concerned, ice cream is a daily essential food group! so anytime we can add more scoop shops to the rotation, we're 100% here for it! now Miharu isn't quite a new kid on the block. they were operating out of a cloud kitchen in Oakland just a couple of years ago. it was then I first tried their Breakfast Brownies and Miharu's Royale that I knew I could expect great things from this place. and thankfully for all of us ice cream lovers, they finally opened up a brick and mortar at the end of June. they've got some creative creations and also some traditional flavors converted into bold new adaptations. Breakfast Brownies is my staple and has caramelized crunchy cornflakes, with brownie chunks all mixed into their sweet cream. our current go-to is the Banana Dulce de Leche. with swirls of their homemade caramel sauce. true story, but my husband finished his scoop and went right back in for more in a sundae form drizzled with more dulce de leche and sliced almonds. (don't tell him I told you!) the Butter Caramel Popcorn is so interesting with a sweet and salty combo and added texture. and our kids love the Cookie Milk & Cookie because what kid doesn't? one flavor that I hope comes back into rotation is Miharu's Royale. it had housemade cookie dough with toasted macadamia nuts, and crunchy chocolate pieces in a coconut base. I bought a pint once from their cloud kitchen and have my fingers crossed! we never fail to stop in here when we are in the area. and since we are more regularly here on the weekends again as of late, I foresee more frequent visits! cone-gratulations again on the shop Miharu!

Best ice cream shop in the bay. So many unique flavors. My bf is dairy free but I’m not. Miharu has a wide selection of both dairy and vegan options that we can both enjoy. Our favorites so far are milk & cookies, blood orange and fennel, and lemon berry lavender (v). All the ice creams taste fresh, light, but still creamy, a small burst of delight with each spoonful.

This is an ice cream parlor in midtown Oakland, CA featuring unique, novelty ice cream flavor combinations. On this visit I arrived close to closing however there were still some patrons walking into the shop. You can order ice cream by the scoop in a cup, pre-packaged pints, or cone. The shop also offers a variety of baked goods (mostly cookies) with vegan options, sundaes, banana split and hot chocolate. I was impressed by the ingredients combinations and they're not just throwing flavors together; the ingredients actually pair well together. To be a small ice cream parlor surprisingly they have seating that can accommodate up to 15 people. Overall this was a great experience and one which I will try again when in the area. Give them a try.

Got the lemon swirl & the lychee rose. Both are very delectable and unique. I also appreciate their open kitchen so we can see the back. If you are lucky you can see them plugging away in the ice lab.

The Qahwa - Coffee + Cardamom ice cream slaps. I've tried a lot of coffee ice cream and this one is by far my favorite. Only downside is the location and parking but the variety, quality, and bouginess of the ice cream is epic.
