Top points for menu innovation, such a range of dishes to choose from. Everything was tasty and interesting and I thought portion size was relatively good for the high price point. We were recommended the oyster mushrooms and arancini to start. I felt these were nothing special for a fine dining restaurant. The olives were served warm and delicious. The smokey tempeh was good and I loved how the menu wasn't based on faking meat dishes, rather letting naturally vegan ingredients shine.
For a few years now, this has been my go to place for birthdays anniversaries and just for a great night out. It’s the height of excellence without being pretentious at all - friendly people on the staff and a congenial atmosphere right on the Avenue.
There was one dish that seemed like gnocchi that was kind of gummy and had an underwhelming flavor, but the rest of the food was delicious and well seasoned. Perhaps the restaurant was a little expensive for what you get, but with the Prix fixe menu, I felt full when I was done. Service was okay, but a few times I had to flag down our waiter and I noticed the table next to us needed to raise their hand a few times to get service. In spite of the shortcomings, I would still return.
Loved the back patio area - the ambiance was delightful and while it got loud as the evening went on, it was at least quieter than inside the restaurant proper. ALL of the food (4 starters, 4 main dishes, and 4 desserts) was just incredible.
Two of my favorite things came together like a perfect peanut butter cup the other night: Millennium and their 4-course pumpkin dinner. We sat at the bar, sipped on a delicious cocktail and mocktail (the Cassia is sooo good), and chatted with a delightful bartender as we dined and marveled at each dish we tried on Mischief Night. My personal fave was a seared pumpkin mochi that gave gnocchi vibes, and the candied chai custard creme brulee served in a honeynut squash. 10/10 for service, too. Thanks for a lovely pre-Halloween evening out.
Overall the experience was positive. Only serious drawback was the wait. Made a 6:30 reservation, arrived at 6:00 and was finally seated at 6:50.
Incredible variety on the menu, with unique combinations I've never tried. The sauces were divine. Cocktails are great too!
Came in for all day happy hour - great food. Outdoor patio was toasty with heaters going. Oyster mushroom and burger were superb.
I have not been here in years. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and my wife and my 59th anniversary. Arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. Sat in the dining room. We waited close to 30 minutes to order and get drinks - certainly not snappy service. Food was as expected - solid B In prior years this was considered a top of the line restaurant. It did not feel that way.
Noah at the front was great. Our waiter was not great, as he didn't really engage with us. The drinks came after our meal was delivered, had to ask about the bottle of wine we ordered, and my glass of wine, coffee took awhile, and cream took even longer. Just not a lot of attention to detail. Food was wonderful as usual, and we had a very enjoyable time.

Brought my wife here for her birthday as they've updated their menu and have so many GF options now. Our server was great. The food was phenomenal. A lovely experience overall. Will be back more often.
The service was excellent. The food was creative and tasted great. I'm not a vegan but enjoyed everything I ordered.
We went to Millennium to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Misha was our server and was one of the best we have ever had! Misha was engaging, knowledgeable and top-notch! When we go back, I will personally request Misha!
Love Millenium! One of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area and one of my favorite vegan restaurants overall!!
I love going to Millennium with a small group for a special occasion and trying as many dishes as we can. I definitely suggest eating family style and sharing to try as many things as you can. Their menu is constantly rotating and seasonal, so they always have some new and delicious items to try. They also have some staples that I love. There is a fried mushroom appetizer—like vegan calamari — that I absolutely adore. This time around, we had a shaved butternut squash salad that was to die for. There was also a Lion's Mane steak with polenta and a gravy that tantalized my taste buds. Their cocktails also rotate and are seasonal. In June, I had a delicious blue cocktail called Pool Party, which included a piece of a rainbow sour candy, and some of the proceeds went to a Transgender camp for kids. So cool! This time around, I had the Libra Season—a balanced and delicious cocktail with Luxardo, Aperol, mezcal, foam, and lime—absolutely sublime. For dessert, we had a cheesecake and a crème brûlée, both divine.
