My last review for millennium was in 2018 so high time for an update. The food here is excellent. My favorite remains the coriander crusted. fried mushrooms, which are so delicious. I also love the little gem salad. The entrées are good as well, but a bit pricey. Also be aware that they add about 5% onto your bill automatically, but that is not the tip. I believe one percent goes to a food bank and 4% is for increased costs. It’s definitely worth the splurge.

We did the pre-fix 4 course meal. The corn riblets and smores tart were incredible. The polenta and eggplant dish were both very flavorful. We did not like the pasta, ice cream, or the starter. They felt bland. I would also say the portions are not that large, and got hungry just two hours later. Overall unique food with great atmosphere, and when you find the right dish for you it can be mind blowing.
We have been going to Millennium since they were located in San Francisco. For us, this is primarily a special occasion restaurant because the inventive dishes are truly worthy of birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations. The flavors are incredible and memorable. We cannot do this at home. We look forward to the appetizers the most, and always share a dessert as well.
