I discovered Mocha House through a friend about a year and a half ago. I immediatelywas reminded of Arabic cafes I had frequented during my traves. The wall painting brings back the sounds and smells of those experiences. The owners of Mocha House are very friendly and fun and make excellent drinks. I mainly get the Oatmilk Matcha latte and the Oatmilk ginger milk. Both drinks are delicious!!! And the Oatmilk chai is also excellent. The food bites are authentic and delicious and clearly prepared by bakers from the Middle Eastern countries. For me it has become my favorite place to hang out with friends, meet new people and write papers etc. Thank you for doing such an amazing job at bringing people from all different cultures together in this enjoyable inviting atmosphere!!!

Terrific cafe! Extensive Yemeni style coffee menu available, even more than other Yemeni cafes in the East Bay. Plenty of plant milk options, along with several vegan desserts and one savory baked goods. Plenty of atmospheric space to work (with wall outlet to charge), chill, meet friends. No weird smells inside. Pleasant non-English music playing at a reasonable volume in the background (so, it's hard to do meeting here). Very friendly service.

Adeni chai is super fragrant, love the cardamom and nutmeg flavors. The honeycomb bread is very yummy. Came on a day the cafe is 2yrs old and they offered everyone 30% off. Such nice gesture! Super kind staff.

I can't speak much about the food since I didn't have any.
The coffee is quite decent, their matcha delicious. The outdoor seating is ample and lovely. The indoor seating is plentiful and varied. Small tables, slightly less small tables and then couches with armrests that can double as a tiny writing desk.
This cafe has the best kick-it factor. I came here and stayed for hours just reading on the couch, drinking my coffee.

Came here for the first time today and it was so lovely! The food and drinks were all delicious. And all three staff I interacted with were super friendly.
One star off on atmosphere bc it was kind of loud inside and the indoor seating isn't great for fat folks but the benches and atmosphere outside in the parklet were perfect.
