*** Excellent service, atmosphere, quality, price ***I visited for the first time today with a friend. The person who waited on us was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and engaging, and they gave us outstanding advice when we asked several questions about different food and beverage options. The place itself is very spacious with wonderful Yemeni decor. My friend and I both enjoyed our savory dishes and yummy beverages.I'm delighted that they also have many plant-based/vegan options for both food and beverages! (FYI, for coffee and tea, they have soy and oat-milk substitutes for cow's milk.)And, the prices were outstanding – beating prices for similar goods at other cafés.I'm going to make this a go-to café from now on.Vegetarian options: They had several vegan pastries, cookies, and savory dishes – and even more vegetarian ones (with egg and/or milk).Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegan options for savory and sweet dishes and for their beverages (with soy and oat milk substitute for cow's milk).

Mohka House is a cozy spot to sit down and have a coffee and some food. I can't say I was blown away by the actual coffee, but I'm more of a sweet latte kind of person, so your mileage may vary depending on your preferences.

Everything about this place is amazing. Perfect for gathering, studying, or just enjoying some delicious tea and pastries. The tea pot service is especially magical. The owners and staff are so kind and they put so much love and care into what they do. I feel so lucky to have a cafe like this in Oakland, because it feels like I'm transported to another place and time when I'm here.Vegetarian options: There are actually a ton of delicious vegan options here - both savory and sweet. Most of the other items are vegetarian.Wheelchair accessibility: The space is open and airy with plenty of room for wheelchairs to navigate.

True Gem in the Heart of Oakland!! I could spend all day working, chatting with friends, or eating (one of everything) and still want to come back tomorrow. It’s the perfect cafe with comfy indoor and outdoor seating, incredible menu of baked sweet and savory items, and wonderful staff. I just moved out of the area but I’ll be making a special trip here next time I’m in town.

Wonderful staff. Large space to sit with abundant tables, chairs, and couches. Lofted ceilings helps the space feel very spacious. Adorable private outdoor booths with heaters for colder nights. The tea and coffee is delicious. Highly recommend the pot service. The two pastries I tried were both fresh and delicious.Vegetarian options: Almost all desserts and breads are vegetarian

Great spot to grab some great Yemeni and American coffee, their Adani Chai is amazing and the food is delicious. If you are anywhere near Fruitvale and MacArthur find parking and stop in to be amazed. Yasser is a great host and made us feel at home.

Best coffee house to do schoolwork or work. Great staff and ambience, they treat you like family.

Impeccable coffees, and teas, chai served in beautifully ornamented glasses. If you order by the pot, pretty little pots come out with a tea-stand where a candle burns beneath to keep the whole pot warm. The baked goods are superb, and not too sweet. Savory Baked goods and quiche too. The staff are also very special and sweet. They certainly enjoy, showing off their abundant hospitality.

Nice feeling, great place to work or chill. I recommend the ginger steamed milk as a nice alternate to tee for a night cap.
