Monster Pho is an absolute gem, both in terms of food + value, and community support; they've just announced that until SNAP benefits are fully restored, kids under 12 can get pho for free if you show them your SNAP card (and a discount for parents, but no purchase necessary for the kids' pho).

BEST PHO IN TOWN. The atmosphere and service is all love! They have a tasty house hazy beer that pairs very well with the pho too, its a must try for craft beer lovers. You would be hard pressed to find a better all around pho resturaunt experience. Monster Pho is an Oakland gen, full stop.
