Classic hole in the wall with excellent espresso and hot sandwiches. Tucked away on a dead end street, but easy to find by the sign out front. My new go-to when I'm on the area.
I've been getting coffee and eating lunch here weekly for years. I just changed jobs and no longer work on Filbert st and am sad to not come here regularly anymore. The prices are excellent, the menu has tons of options and I've enjoyed all of the things I've tried. Excellent Sandwiches. Can't wait too try other things on the menu. Service is great but the place is out of the way on a side street. If the location was closer to jack london square I would think they would be alot busier. I found Montes only because of the sandwich board on the corner of 3rd street. Definitely a must try if your in the Area. The Chicken Pesto Is the Bomb!!!
