Good food, fun atmosphere, easy access on the way to the airport. But, beware. The neighborhood is known for an epidemic of car break-ins. Do not leave anything of value in your car. And, leave your windows down so the the thieves can see in. If you do not, it will suffer a broken window!

The interior is beautiful and the staff is exceptional. We can chat and wind down while relaxing over good quality of food. Must try!

First of all the service was horrible and I don’t understand why. We were very friendly and excited about the experience and our waited did not reciprocate that energy. He instructed us to use the QR code to place our own order then took the order of the table next to us. He also said that there was a two hour table limit after he brought our drinks and instructed us to move to the bar area if we wanted to continue to drink. Our waiter forgot to put our drink order in and when he did he brought the wrong drinks. I waited 15 minutes for utensils which caused my food to get cold! Do not order the churro waffle it’s DRY! We would have finished within in our two hour table limit if he waited on us properly!

This is a restaurant that reflects what is available in the markets and the dishes change regularly...and they all are delicious and fun to share. it is a family style dinner and it was so much fun to be there and see what the kitchen produced. they don't take reservations for small parties but we will still return!

Portion sizes are large and without being hurried, the service is swift and attentive, the place still seemed busy and we had to wait for 20 minutes both nights, but it was well worth the wait.

Some of the best Tex-Mex I've had in the Bay Area (and I've lived in SoCal and TX for most of my life!). We had 2 great cocktails (the pear margarita and the Tres Rojas) that were super tasty and well-made. The chips and salsa and guac were very tasty and a decent sized portion. The pozole soup, the quesadilla, and the chile verde colorado enchilada were all very flavorful with super fresh and tasty ingredients. The portions were all quite big, too! THe staff were friendly and accomodating; we showed up during the dinner rush with no reservation on a Friday night and they allowed us to grab an unused table for an hour (which was plenty of time to eat and chill). They were constantly cleaning the tables between guests and the outdoor area was covered and had many heat lamps. The prices were a bit high overall, but we did get a pretty large amount of quite tasty food.

In the middle of an 880 freeway on-ramp, a Shell gas station, and a restaurant supply store (shout out to Smart Foodservice), is a magical place called Nido! Do yourself a favor and come here for happy hour!!! First off, we are all #blessed that this place reopened. They were closed for a long while because of COVID. Unfortunately, new lockdowns JUST came up and they have to close again this Sunday 12/6/20 - as I was told by a waitress. I'm on their mailing list so I received an email earlier in the week that their patio was open for business and that they could take reservations now for the first time! It was so easy and convenient. On their website, you can make reservations on Resy. Their patio is so cute: there are string lights, heat lamps, and a roof structure. Happy hour is 4-6pm, and apparently available Thursday-Sunday when they're open. This is actually already subject to change because of lockdown measures just implemented just as I'm posting this review. Sad! To stay up-to-date, I recommend signing up for their mailing list so you know when they're open again. When we got seated, we got a little one page laminated sheet with COVID rules and the QR code for our table to place an order and pay through our phones. The process was seamless and ended up being very convenient because we could just bounce when we were done instead of waiting for our check! They encouraged wearing masks as much as you can. The server was so nice, this woman I didn't get her name. The food was bomb. We loved everything we got: the cup of pozole ($5 during HH!), beef brisket tacos (2 for $8 during HH), and mole quesadilla! We also really enjoyed the mezcal margaritas. They also had beers, sangria, and rosé available on the HH menu. Overall we were very satisfied! Such a cute ambiance and vibe, delicious quality food and drinks, and great happy hour deals. Support this neighborhood gem! I also love Nido Backyard - a couple blocks away.

This place is like home cooking. The garlic lime cilantro fries always bring me back! I love the staff. They always remember a face and what you like to order; They call me the "American burger with Fries and an orange juice girl". And Pat is always there to see how your meal went. This is what I call customer service. I have recommended that all my co-workers visit this restaurant and they all give it two thumbs up! Who doesn't like the option of breakfast in the afternoon? This is one of the only DECENT places to eat on the Wharf. Plus the prices reflect on the quality of food. Great job!

super delicious, and one of the few places i’ve found that has huitlacoche!! delivery presentation was 10/10 and the cocktails are superb.

Really expensive for mediocre food/cocktails/service. Would maybe give it one more try? Cute seating area though

How cool that this Oakland gem has adapted during the pandemic! All of the delicious drinks and all kinds of new menu items all for take-out in...wait for it...compostable containers...even the bottles the drinks come in! Please support this sustainability-minded, amazing and delicious restaurant. They have a few outdoor tables, too. Go. Go now!

Service is quick, I had the machaca plate. Nothing wow about the food, it's ok to come and try but I wasn't impressed. A coffee and machaca plate for $17...

Their sangria is good, but I have yet to try food from them that left me happy. I will say that their dessert is good, and the atmosphere is calm.

Attended here last week party of 3. after a 30 minute wait Table 9 came up in my text. Shortly afterwards Angle Rudely explained we could only dine for 1 hour and relocated us to a different table. Not one server greeted us with a smile nor made us feel comfortable. I would like to say the bartenders were on point though.
