Good food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. And importantly because it’s Oakland, they have secure, guarded parking.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Cute spot with delicious food, especially on a beautiful day! Had a margarita and the Tlacoyo de Chicharrón Prensado con Huevo.

$5 parking in guarded lot a half block away due to street bipping. So sad we have come to this. Ordered vegan burrito and it was a ten. Covered outdoor tables. My friend had a different Mexican dish that they made a vegan version. All delicious and service was attentive.

Really cute outdoor space with amazing food and great service! Salsa, guacamole, and the papas pasadas were all sooooo good! They do have a paid parking lot that is secure which is nice that you don’t have to worry about your car while you’re there.

I loved the creative and eclectic menu, was super excited to try it all. We ate at the bar so the entire menu was not available. In short, the food was very underwhelming. The only dish i would recommend is the Tamal De calabazas con Rajas, the flavors were deliciously comforting, sweet and smoky. It was nicely balanced in flavors but don’t expect a balance in texture. It’s a tamal.Caldo de Ranchero. Zero depth in flavor. Even with the squeeze of lime and dumping the entire side salsa that was for the soup. $22 dollars for flavorless soup was very regrettable.Flautas De Papa Y Rajas was good. The pickled red onions was needed cut through a fried dish.Papas PasadasWhere are the chives? Peanut Cremosa Salsa macha? No flavor, I think they gave us a plain crema by accident, zero peanut flavor. Potatoes are soggy and not salted enough. Chile? Maybe a smidge if you picked a potato that had enough of it on it.Fish TacoBattered nicely, crisp without it being oily. Not enough pickled white onion.Ensalada Picada with steakAgain, where is the salt? Salad was too bitter, apples and Watermelon radish were not ripe/peak of season enough to balance with their usual sweetness, herb croutons? Again zero herb, not enough salt. The ingredients were fresh enough, the cheese and avocado were the only ingredients that helped it make it edible.Quesadillas with asparagus with huitlacoche corn, again, zero flavor! How?! Asparagus was slightly over cooked, carmelized onions were meh, the only saving grace was the smoky salsa it came with.Queso ContigoWhere was the pickled jalapeno? Queso dip was all smoke no good cheese flavor. Chips were slightly over cooked and oily, oil temp was probably low or fryer was overloaded.Service was super friendly, margaritas were delicious, atmosphere was warm and inviting. I get it, it’s Saturday night. But if it’s 5 customers or 500. I expect the execution of dishes to be the same. Taste everything before it gets dished. Quality check isn’t there. $150 on very mediocre food will mean we won’t be back to try it again.

Fun outdoor, "backyard" feel. Food was tasty and it was nice to have my pup with me. The margarita was tasty, but really small for the price. Totally recommend. Definitely use the Nido's parking area and get it validated when you eat there. The street parking around it has many break-insParking: Get your parking lot ticket validated at the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Looked like the whole thing was accessible

Great space for large groups. The food was okay. The guacamole wasn't flavorful and the salsa wasn't memorable but the chicken tacos were good. I was with a group of 160 and impressed with their efficiency in serving food and cleaning tables.
