Best Sandwich in Oakland. Period. And support you local minority business owner and buy something at the liquor store on the way out too.Unfortunately this place has closed. But something new is filling the space

No longer Open. Sandwiches burritos and Tortas coming soon, is what the posted sign displayed. So sad I came such a long way to an empty location. I heard via Yelp that this deli previously made delicious sandwiches. To which I was looking forward to having after a long day of appointments and errands. I chose Oak knoll Meat & Deli as my destination for a late lunch and was completely saddened to see it was out of business. The store it is located inside of is open to public however, everything looked kinda out of date or overly ripe. Too far out the way for me to want to visit again unless I'm in the area and desperate. Neighboring stores like fed ex and pizza were also in this location with free parking.

I would say for the most part very good but the downside is they have been verylacking it comes to stay in the opening…. A couple different times now they don’t open till almost 11 if not 1130 when they open at 10 so they need to get back on track as far as the schedule is concerned but other than that really happy with this food the service once I do get it

No frills sandwich place inside a liquor store. Ordered a ham, mortadella and salami with provolone.

Hidden Gem!!! I def recommend this spot. They aren't stingy at all with the meat and have delicious specialty options too!

Solid classic bay area deli sandwiches. We had the turkey bacon avocado (essentially the bay area classic) and the po-boy which was basically a bunch of italian cold cuts. The sandwiches aren't like super long but they're stuffed pretty full and it ends up being a pretty large meal. They, like most delis, don't have that good toothsome dutch anymore though and it makes me sad. So far only guera's in the sunset has dutch that's as good as it was when i was growing up.

The best tasting & most reasonably priced deli sandwich you'll find. I live in Richmond & it's worth the drive. Got the Italian salami & created my own sandwich w/different meats & both w/basic toppings like shredded lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle on big soft sandwich roll that wrapped in saran wrap so it's stays soft & fresh. The guy who made my sandwich is quick & keeps the line moving. I've been coming here for years & never had a mistake or a bad sandwich. They charge 50cents debit/credit. Lots of regulars come here so it's best to get there before lunch crowd like 11am.
