Omg the people at the oak port cafe are amazing and the chicken salad sandwich with sourdough bread is highly recommended. We have it recommended by the people that were here and they were on .100% was an amazing sandwich. Even my wife loved it and she's a very picky eater. It's was clean and great service great price for the price it's really delicious most amazing sandwich I've hade in a long time if your in the area you need to pass bye and the ambience it's clam and relax the people are cool collective individuals And it also has a great view of the bay with a trail not far for a walk or fishing was the best experience hands down cecy was so nice amazing customer service she. Need a raise this was my first time and she made a exceptional Experience was the best thank you oak port for the delicious food I would of sent a picture of the food but it's didn't last long lol

This is the only place I go for lunch by my job. The staff are friendly and everything tastes good...everything. My recommendation would be the breakfast burrito in the Morning and the and the egg salad sandwich or Salami Sandwhich for lunch.

Usually cafe's are expensive and not very good. This is NOT the case for Oakport Cafe !! The entire building smell so delicious I had to go inquire. The staff was friendly, the service was FAST, and the restaurant was CLEAN. I ordered the chili cheese dog, and a Caesar slather chili was made fresh, and it was the most beautiful Caesar salad I have ever seen. There was so much food I had leftovers for dinner, and it was priced fair. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Oakland, and you should too !!

The Dutch crunch roll is fantastic. I got the Turkey and bacon on Dutch crunch. There was no mention of jalapeños or whatever they have pulverized and spread on the bottom layer under mustard and lettuce, but wow, it’s hot. We ordered two different sandwiches, and both would’ve been great without that added. It’s honestly all I could taste, so once I found it I scraped it out. This is how much they put on half a sandwich.The salad bar is facing a glass wall and the egg yolks looked dried out and hard at 12:30pm. I wouldn’t try the salad…
