The chicken kebobs had a sour after taste, the hummus plate was cold and bland, the pitas were stale, and the salads were watery. The lamb and rice were the only reasonable things we ate there. Very disappointing.

Let me first say I only eat chicken and seafood. I think I ordered everything on the menu otherwise! I ordered to-go. It was fantastic! The hummus was amazing. The chicken shawarma wrap and plate loved it. The deserts were great too. I love Mediterranean food and this spot filled the void. I live in Texas but work in California for now. I actually went back the following week and ordered again. Typical whole in the wall, and I mean that in a good way! Family ran and I loved it. The guys that were preparing the food made sure everything was spot on. I definitely recommend! Jason D
The service at this restaurant is top notch. A beautiful establishment located close to Oakland's beloved lake Merritt. The food is surprisingly mesmerizing. I would recommend anyone considering a meal at this restaurant, should engage. Merry Christmas.

Hole-in-the-wall places are the best. A bit run down but their chicken schwarma plate was great. Good ratio of meat to rice with some mixed vegetables and a side of pita bread. Customer service was also very good. They accommodated my group with food prepared in to-go boxes, extra paper plates for sharing food, and plastic forks. I would recommend this eatery to friends and family who are in the area.

Discovered this spot today with my family after taking the kiddo to Fairyland (which is across the street). Good value for some delicious food. Really hit the marks on what I was thinking it would be. We went with wraps and kept the meal pretty tame. They had some nice things that I'd like to give a try if and when I can come back. (Fries, meat and sauces on top of it...looked BOMB ). The folks who were working were kind, accommodating and helpful (coming in with a few us and helping us have a bigger table, enough sauces to enjoy to giving my kid an additional baklava which made her so happy). If you're in the area give it a try!
