My husband and I enjoy this place. The Whole snapper is the best. During this visit I was perrurb for we ordered a whole snapper and was later told is was sold out. Meanwhile guest who sat next to us, came after us, ordered the last two snapper. Next time when we arrive we won't order drinks we will order the snapper first. The host was nice about.
I love Oeste and always have a great time. Though we had a reservation we were seated at a small table that was next to a door that was frequently opened. I cold draft came in whenever it was opened. While the table was small and cold I would not have any complaints, however, the walk- in party of two that came in after us was seated at a more ideal table, away from the door and much more table space. I felt that since we had the reservation we should have been given the better...
Food was excellent as usual. I always forget portions are huge, but the plantains, catfish and red beans stay reliably delicious. The ambiance was nice, almost reminiscent of NYC on a Friday evening in the fall.
