I had the cheese arepa and a coffee. Both were pretty good. Planning to come back tomorrow!

First time here and our lunch was delicious. I realize that Oakland has lots of great restaurants. Their salmon tartar and frijolada bowl was great. Very nice place.

Terrible place, they make people think that this is the gastronomy of Colombia, apart from being super expensive! Their prices are too high for the amount of food they serve ? DO NOT GO SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE! IT'S NOT WORTH IT, none of what they sell is Colombian, THE WORST!!!!

What a charming place. After a comedy show at the Paramount, we were looking for something to eat and this place was on our way to the motel. It was really hopping in there. They squeezed us into the lounge area, which was really comfortable. We didn't order a lot of things, but what we had was really good! Empanadas and plantains with shredded beef. We had a mocktail as well which was delicious.Loved the shared plate thing too!

Everything about Parche is beautiful, from the second you walk in. The distinctive art, the furniture, the layout, and as it starts to get dark, the lighting and ambiance , it's just a great vibe. Then there's the food... Every bite was delicious. We were a party of six, and had 5 small plates and 3 entrees, because we couldn't decide on any less. The gorgeous presentation, the cerviche in this amazing sauce with squid ink dots was a work of art and didn't stop there, branzino, short ribs, plantain wrapped crab, ahhh! I want to go back already! We topped it off with desserts (5 if I'm being truthful, but it was my bday), let's just say there was decadent dark chocolate, a sweet cornbread, and the absolute best flan I've ever had... Ever. Service and personality of staff A+. Overall 10 out of 10 for us!

Just an absolutely delightful place. The food is amazing - great flavors and textures. My favorites were the tumaco ceviche and the chicharron ceviche. The egg arepa was also a standout. The drinks are great and strong. Service is excellent. The menu has gluten free designations, which is great for many. The space is beautiful. Truly wonderful spot.

I was thrilled to find out a Colombian restaurant opened in uptown Oakland, since there are so few in the Bay Area generally. They've remixed a bunch of the classics and it's all really tasty, elevated stuff. Highly recommend! I was not expecting some of the dishes I ordered to show up how they did (I did not pay a ton of attention to the descriptions, my kid was distracting me) but everything was really tasty.Kid-friendliness: They were great with all of our toddlers

Walked in for dinner with no reservation during Oakland Restaurant Week, immediately seated at bar table. The “arepas” are a laughable disgrace and I didn’t recognize traditional Colombian food on the menu... Arepas are usually butterfly not open face. Chef came out to apologize. The patacones saved the meal, would recommend. Cute space so I would return for lunch or happy hour maybe. Sorbet Dessert is good

Had lunch with 2 of my girlfriends on a weekday and we were seated immediately. It was all of our first time there, and we loved it. We will be back to try more! Let's get into it:Menu: We came during lunch so we had the lunch menu as well as the Restaurant Week fixed menu. We didn't opt for it because we wanted to try some other items but we heavily considered it. The regular lunch menu was great - 1 page and yet had many options for us. The back listed several great looking drink options.Appetizers: Everything we ordered was extremely flavorful. We ordered the Salmon Salpicon and Bruselas El Prado to share. The salmon dish was so good and rich. We wish it came with just a few more more plantain crisps but that's our preference. We said we'd come back for that and drinks alone...unless we got the rest of our dishes. The Brussel sprouts were so well flavored and perfectly charred and crispy. I would eat that on it's own.Main Dishes: We order 3 dishes including: Arepa con Queso, Colombian Chorizo Hotdog, and Posta Negra Sando. I had the Arepa and it was a wonderful vegetarian arepa dish filled with a mix of root veggies, cauliflower and broccoli all topped with an egg. So filling. Highly recommend. I don't eat meat so I didn't eat the other dishes but my friends were not disappointed.Service: The servers were great. Very genuine interactions. They checked in on us periodically and were never far if we needed something.Ambiance: The place itself was beautifully decorated. I wish I took pictures of the inside of the restaurant.Overall, a wonderful treat to experience with friends. Treat yourself to this place! We'll be back to try more food and check out their dinner menu.Dietary restrictions: Menu states this is a gluten free kitchen. Dishes also marked as DF (dairy free), VG (vegan), VEG (vegetarian) where applicable.
