These burgers were awesome! Nice big juicy patties and the freshest veggies! Great atmosphere and the ladies that served us were absolutely marvelous! This is a must go! If you want a real burger, fries, onion rings this is the place. My wife and I found it by accident and decided to give it a whirl! Glad we did! I will go back the next time I am in the Oakland area!

had a pretty goofy experience here. After l a 3 mile hike, me and my boyfriend decided to get nearby for a late lunch (3:30) some burgers, sides and drinks. I give them, my name and give us a 15-20 minute wait for a dine in option.People come in behind us to order for here as well. I noticed after that a group of 3 come after us gets served 2 burgers first, after about 5 mins the other person in the group asks when their food will be coming out. And as one would expect they gave them our order (human error happens). I chime in asking if that was our order and the staff don't answer that question - they're clearly unsure and figuring out tickets (they have burgers made without a proper ticket)- they ask me for my receipt and I gave it to them. About 5 mins later another staff member asked for my receipt ? I had to communicate that her coworker already had it They finally said they'll make this right and asked me for my phone number (wrote it down) so the manager could offer me another meal or something because they "this isn't right". Food came out after 45 mins from the original order time - and it was fine- nothing to write home about. Very typical burger, fries, and onion rings.The frustration 1- why take names if you're not going to use them in a point of service system?2- no one directly talked to us - myself and the other group had to drive the conversation and coach staff through this. 3 aAdditionally, after 2 weeks no one has attempted to contact me. For $50 (tip included) and a typical burger with this was a goofy experience that I do not want to repeat

Just got done with lunch here after a nice 2mi hike on Bridgeview Trail (this is right around the corner from the Monterey trailhead). TOTALLY hit the spot. So delicious and really fresh ingredients. I got the Diablo burger, hubby got the Bacon Cheeseburger, and we got a grilled cheese for the LO. My husband noticed how crisp the lettuce was immediately and they had FRESH jalapeños for the Diablo burger which is so refreshing. No canned jalapeños here! The only hiccups were service was a bit slow and our LOs grilled cheese came out well after our food, but the service was immediately apologetic and asked if there was any sort of discount/offer she could give us for our next visit. We declined - it was enough to come prepared with the offer and the food was SO good! They also initially forgot the jalapeños on my burger but once I mentioned it they brought them right away definitely recommend and will be coming back!
