Here in Alaska, I have been home-delivering my English Breakfast tea for over 20 years and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is wonderful and Customer Service is unmatched.

I had my first cup of Peerless decaf today. I ordered a drip to go and I will definitely be back to try more! I’m not usually impressed by most decaf roasts but this was exceptional! Full bodied, rich & deep, but smooth and super flavorful. The prices are reasonable as well!

Picked up a medley of beans today 5 to be exact and tried 4 so far. All are very similar to the descriptions on the site. Roasted well and appreciated being able to diversify with quarter pounds rather than getting too much where they can lose flavor in a couple weeks. Have to try to the French roast next time. European royale, I brewed clean and it literally tastes like English black tea

I went here last week on Tuesday for the first time, and I was blown away by their cold brew. It was so good that I continued to go there for the next three days! I normally go to Starbucks, but their coffee was by far better than Starbucks and cheaper. This is my go to place. I highly recommend.

this is a store where you can buy better priced coffee and tea. the rest is all up to you having tea or coffee outside
at the few tables provided
it is not 'your coffee shop

Delicious and affordable, and staff are pleasant and efficient. For everyone that visits us, this is always the favorite of the local coffee shops. The beans are some of our most in-demand Christmas gift requests from our family on the east coast. The only downside is the retail shop is only open on the weekdays, but I respect the work/life balance. Pastry options can run out quickly, so if you want a snack with your drink get there sooner rather than later.

Absolutely Outstanding Coffee

Peerless Coffee & Tea truly lives up to its name. Their whole beans are near perfection—fresh, rich, and full of flavor. Every cup brewed from these beans is consistently delicious, smooth, and balanced, with none of the bitterness you sometimes get elsewhere. You can taste the quality and care that goes into their roasting. If you love coffee, this is as good as it gets.

(to be super clear in my order was online)

This place has the best coffee I have ever had and it’s not even close! If you can get a tour of the museum you’re in for a really cool experience too!

Ok, so you may have seen other peoples reviews that mention the burnt coffee taste. It's real. About half the time my coffee does taste burnt. However, the times it doesn't, Peerless might be the best coffee in the Bay. Depth/Nuance & rich coffee flavor.

Also, sometimes my coffee is one price and sometimes it's another. Makes me wonder if I'm getting a friendly discount (I work one parking lot over & been drinking this coffee for 8 years). Either way, generally the coffee here is really good. I've seen people leave outta here with BAGS of beans.

Also most of the staff here is pretty chill, really helpful & kind folks.

I’ve never considered myself a coffee person until I started my current job which at times required me to start the day with a little bit of caffeine. Starting off, my palate for coffee was not at all developed, at first, all coffee tasted the same to me. After years and years of Starbucks coffee, and then having my first cup at Peerless, I could immediately taste the difference. There is depth and richness of flavor and aroma that you will find here at Peerless vs a chain cafe. The quality of the coffee here actually pushed me to buy a coffee maker so that I could buy some beans from peerless to brew my own coffee at home.

WEBSITE REVIEW. I order from the web and have a subscription for only one type of their coffee. It’s amazing but we have ordered other mediums and they’re BURNT AND DARK. Not even close to medium. To add insult to injury- they say u can send it back ON UR OWN DIME for a refund even though we already have to pay for shipping.
They don’t reward loyal customers and we spend $100+ per order and we don’t even get free shipping.
To make matters worse, I have to email them each time for the UPS tracking bc they don’t add it to the email or ur account. The shipping is slow AF even tho I pay $10 for it. U can literally pack it in a USPS flat rate for a 2-3 day ship for a discounted business rate. After I had to email again for my tracking, I decided to write this and I’m just going to cancel my future orders. It’s the principle of the laziness of this business.

I’m just over this company. After the amount we have spent to support it, they really have a lack of business acumen to show any appreciation to loyal high spenders. We never get a discounted code, free shipping for at least a subscription account that has $100+ and to tell customers to ship back coffee on their own dime is insulting,

Worst coffee I've ever had, their coffee is burnt to charcoal, Its literally oily burnt carbon coffee and they listed it as a medium roast. AVOID this company if you like coffee.
