Ok, so you may have seen other peoples reviews that mention the burnt coffee taste. It's real. About half the time my coffee does taste burnt. However, the times it doesn't, Peerless might be the best coffee in the Bay. Depth/Nuance & rich coffee flavor.

I’ve never considered myself a coffee person until I started my current job which at times required me to start the day with a little bit of caffeine. Starting off, my palate for coffee was not at all developed, at first, all coffee tasted the same to me.
