They recently did a renovation & made it much worse. They took out a lot of sitting space & went for the cheap modern look. The service is exceptionally slow

This used to be a nice neighborhood coffee place, which the renovation turned into a soulless and unwelcoming corporate branch. What a waste of a prime location. We already had Blue Bottle for pretentious coffee.
Food-wise: my breakfast sandwich was served frozen — not a huge deal but the staff made zero apology for it and prompted me to a refund.

This used to be my favorite location before the renovation. There’s something wrong with the acoustics of the new space, you can barely hear the barista when ordering or when your name is called.
Also, the lack of bar seating lowers the cafe vibe quite a lot. Really a very unfortunate “upgrade”

It’s time to finally leave a review for this disasters location. The service is terrible. I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and the quality and service have declined drastically. There is not one barista that knows how to make a proper drink especially mocha, macchiato and white mochas are the worst from here. They also never have dome lids. They will tell you not for the small cups but even if you order a medium or large if the barista feels like placing a dome lid they will. All the staff are lazy. I’ve found blonde hair in my pastries before. Today was the last straw. The mocha they made looks gross. The whip cream is oozing out of the top. This location really needs to revamp their overall operations.

My favorite Peet’s to take my real estate clients in between showings. The best coffee and a great atmosphere.
Had a bad experience here with their service. Very understaffed on a Saturday morning (one barista is not enough), and I waited 35 minutes for a simple latte. I asked about my order and was told “just a few minutes”, then 10 minutes later I asked again and STILL had to wait another 10 minutes. I saw many people order after me and get the same drinks first so either they lost my order and lied to me, or they seriously need to work on their ordering system.

The store has coffee here, unlike any other I've tasted. Smooth and bursting with flavor, I had black coffee, and my girlfriend had a caramel macchiato—what a taste! It's worth coming back for more.
