Shoutout to Phillip — he always provides consistent, patient, and friendly service. If he’s on the bar, I already know my drink is about to taste like it was made with love. I actually go out of my way to make sure he’s working before I place my drink order. That’s how solid he is!
Now if only the Piedmont location could get it together… I definitely prefer the Temescal spot because of the service and vibe. Thanks again, Phillip — you’re the reason I keep coming back!

This location almost made me stop coming to Peet’s altogether. The service here was incredibly slow and disorganized. My order was wrong (drink sizes, missing food) even after repeating it with the woman taking my order twice. Unfortunately since its happened more than once, I will not be returning to this specific location

Service with a frown! And barely any service at all. Every time I think they can’t possibly be more curt or take longer to make a drink, they top themselves. I was wondering, is it just me? But one time my bf, who is universally loved by strangers and has an undying sympathy for service workers from being one for a couple decades, went in on his own and came out flabbergasted by how bad the service was.
This peets was just the most convenient place to stop for a few weeks on the way to work, but then I realized the drive through espresso place around the corner is open at the same early hour and just SO MUCH BETTER. Great lattes, good breakfast sandwiches, so efficient, and super nice. Don’t waste your time with peets. Especially not this location.

Rude service and selling just water only the colors look coffee but it’s water
It seems like they are forgetting how to make drinks. They messed up my drink for the second time. When i went back and ask them to remake it, both employees ( working at that time ) were rude and one of them actually throw cup on the sink, rude behavior, apologizing far away, didn’t even reply to thanks. Everyone pay here and get their drinks, please don’t mess up with people money. One of them was extremely rude and he was rolling his eyes. That was absolutely not customer service, and customers are not paying for that.

Doesn’t matter what time of day or how slow / busy they are, they’re super super slow. And also, someone who appears to be a supervisor or manager is openly rude to her employees which isn’t a good look
