One of my favorite restaurants in Oakland. The staff are great and friendly, they have great drinks and wine selection, and the food is fantastic. I especially like the salmon and vegetables. The gnocchi is excellent, too. To get there, you can walk from BART or take Ford GoBikes (there's a station directly in front of the restaurant).
Delicious brunch - don't leave without trying the beignets!
Nice atmosphere, lots of bourbon choices, four roses does a single barrel, who knew? Be ready for Oakland Gentry prices.
One of my favorite brunch restaurants. The food is fresh, delicious & seasonal. I love that you can make a reservation! The staff is really nice, delicious coffee, tasty home made hot sauce & fruit preserves. I love the seasonal hash, homemade sausages, biscuits & jam! All the dishes I've tasted are good. I love the plants, floral lighting elements and warm wood decor. It's a good environment with warm ambiance.
Good bar staff. Wide choice. Loud, busy, fun. Good burgers, and other hearty fare
Consistently excellent food and service, with a creative menu, unique drinks, and social atmosphere.
The first time I came here was under previous ownership, and food was great but they recently changed ownership and will be changing their name soon. The food under current chef and owner is less good. Almost every thing was way too oily. I left feeling as bit sick, as everything was covered in grease. The food was not that exciting. A bit boring actually. Drinks were fantastic however. Probably won't be dining here again.
Now that Chef Rico is running the place, this is the best restaurant in Oakland, maybe the East Bay. Burrata, Pork Shoulder, Steak, Potatoes au Gratin, and the wine and cocktails all amazing. Service was tremendous. A delight all around.
Sat at the Bar on a slow Tuesday night. Wine on the Menu not available. Slow service, but polite. First course arrived and had no napkins or cutlery. Second course took too long. Did not see the bar man very often after that. Food was acceptable but not what you'd expect from a top tier restaurant, specially the service.
A beautiful establishment in a hip area. The coctails were excellent, the food phenomenal. Staff was friendly and offered great recommendations. We went on a Friday during restaurant week and there was about a 40 min wait to be seated, but we were able to grab a seat for drinks and appetizers at the bar. I'll definitely be back for a full meal!

Interesting and swanky digs, live music! But way overpriced for the food selection/quality. Recommended for drinks only.
Food was pricy, and the food was bland. The burger has no toppings, and the fries were too small. Along with the salad we had being very bitter. Our food took a little over an hour to get, though the staff was friendly. Overall I won't be coming back.
This place is putting it all together. The food was delicious, the drinks were good, the service was spot on and the noise level was not over the top on a busy Saturday night.
Used to be amazing, but the food quality has declined since Charlie Hallowell sold it.
Omg I love this place .the pasty are so good.and the food is also good
