Wow. I ordered the shishlik lamb skewers and they were on another level. In fact, the meat was so tender it practically melted, easily the best lamb skewers I have had in the Bay. What really set the night apart though was the atmosphere. From the traditional decor to the warm aroma that greeted us and the attentive service throughout, everything just felt right.
This is easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had and I'm already thinking about who I can bring back here next because it would be a tragedy to not share such a gem. I usually don't write restaurant reviews (this is my first time writing one actually), but Persian Nights gave me a reason to.

The first time we went it was good but because we didn’t give him enough tip he acted mean and the next time we order pick up food he was very mean and rude and when we ate the food at home kobidah didn’t taste like a fresh meat it tasted like it was rotten and tomatoes too. It was very disappointing cause we drive all the way thinking it would be good this time too. I think the reason he acted mean and rude it was because we weren’t Persian and he was racist to us. Very bad costumer service and bad food I don’t recommend going there!!!

It's been a few years since I have eaten here, and it's time to return. Excellent Persian food, so yummy, not expensive, and a wonderful view and ambiance.
My Husband is Persian and we enjoy frequenting Persian restaurants all over the Bay Area. We went to Persian nights for the first time and now it is my FAVORITE place for Persian food. I had a chicken on the bone stew and the chicken was so juicy and tender it fell right off the bone. We ordered three main dishes and were impressed by all of them. The Baklava is made with honey not sugar water and it is served warm. It is the best Baklava I have ever eaten. The Owner is present at the restaurant and very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was craving Persian food and this definitely fulfilled my cravings. I ordered a customized Kabob plate of Koobideh (ground beef) and Joojeh (chicken breast) and Ghormei Sabzi. The star was the Koobideh! So flavorful and buttery tasting. You must eat this quickly when it's hot. It tastes the best when hot from the grill. The Joojeh was tasty too, but a bit salty just by itself. The Ghormei Sabzi was good, but a little too sour IMHO. Great meal overall! Would definitely come back.
I sat in the patio and it was nice, but there were some really loud bikers ruining the tranquil space. That was the biggest turnoff that no one can control. 🤷🏻♂️
