From our Cellar: 2016 The Bruery - Tart of Darkness Barrel Aged Sour Stout 750ml
Tart of Darkness is a traditional stout aged in used oak barrels from The Bruery that had previously housed beers such as Cuivre™ or Black Tuesday®. The beer was then brought to Bruery Terreux, where they added their special blend of souring bacterias and wild yeasts. The result is a tart yet dark and roasty sour stout. Not a style you will see very often, this unique stout has notes of tart plums, roasted coffee, vanilla and oak.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and in my hood. It's a great place to watch sports. I don't drink beer but I noticed that folks buy it. There is also live music on Wednesday evening that delivers really good vibes. I've been coming here for a few years. I recently had the Thai wings and I believe they have a new cook. The wings looked and tasted like unseasoned plain baked wings. There was no sauce on them at all. Twelve party wings...

Pizza is good. They have different types of ingredients that you don't usually find on pizza menus. They have a huge selection of draft beers. And Tuesday night is trivia night, I was told. Definitely want to check that out.

this is still my #1 go-to for pizza. Fresh and flavorful, and the sauce is amazing. This was my first time having the dessert and I got the chocolate chip cookie. was clearly many days old and there was sea salt on it. didn't say anything in the description about sea salt and it was too over powering. waste of $3.50 unfortunately. only reason for the lack of 1 star.
