We were lucky to have this well known and popular pie store open a "pop up" for the first time in Napa over the holidays this year (2022). So, we decided to splurge and buy two whole pies: pumpkin in chocolate crust and their pear-blueberry. Both were very good, especially the pumpkin. That said, they are relatively expensive. Like I said, we splurged. Not sure we would buy the pear-blueberry again. Maybe, the pumpkin. In any case, they did a great job with setting up...
I have followed Pietisserie since before they had a storefront. Quality is unparalleled. I thought once they went eCommerce or in large commercial grocers that their quality would dip - it did not. I am sad they don’t offer as many variety of flavors as in the past, but what they do sell, they seemed to have perfected. Not the cheapest pie but far from a disappointment.
These pies are literally the most delicious, best quality, most beautifully presented pies EVER. In our house, Jaynelle's pies from Pietisserie have replaced cake for all occasions, and we often bring them as host gifts, or holiday gifts. They are a hit every single time - modern, delicious, and nostaglic! There are so many seasonal pies we love - the lemon and lime are my kids' favorite, walnut citrus for my husband, and stone fruit for me - all freaking amazing....
