This place is amazing. I just wish the sandwiches weren't all $20. They're worth it, but it's a treat yourself thing. The sisig bolilo was hard to finish for 2 people, because they're was just so much in it! Amazing cut of fatty meat chopped up with 2(i think) juicy eggs. Their veg sandwich is also amazing. A true testament to a good sandwich doesn't need meat

Best sandwiches in The Town, hands down. You should try everything. The menu changes weekly, so ask what's new. I had the beef tongue. I'm used to having it in tacos de lengua, though this version was more tender and bright with flavor. We also ordered the Szechuan chicken sandwich. It packed massive flavor with the right amount of spice. Looking forward to trying more. Wish they had a seating area, but something tells me they will be expanding.

FOH: The Cashier Lily treated me and the other guests exceptional well when I saw the team. Projected times to go was 15 minutes, was ready in 8 minutes. We discussed the menu briefly for I placed my order, she was exceptional knowledgeable.
BOH: The kitchen team was calm and in flow busting their asses. Props to them for killing it. Very quit, professional, and calling order out with grace and calm.
Food was delicious, cooked on point for what it was. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious bite in Temescal. Will be returning myself to try that Sisig Sando

The chicken sandwich was legit one of the best i've ever had.
2:00pm on a Saturday. They were swamped so some issues are understandable, but when you're charging $17 for a bahn mi w/out pate and you charge $2 extra for the pate, you probably shouldn't forget the pate. It's a little unfair to compare since I didn't have the intended experience but it was below the bar of any random vietnamese restaurant's $9 sandwich on the peninsula. The fries were battered so they were very crispy but didn't taste like much, and we had 2-3 little pieces of fried chicken in there, which was a welcome treat but probably not the best when you have such an extensive vegetarian menu.
Seems that when they're busy the quality control goes down, and so for a place where they very clearly state that no substitutions are permitted, you'd expect them to do things right when you order exactly by the book. Mistakes in 2/3 of the things ordered was disappointing, esp. since the limited hours means we've been looking forward to trying this place for months. Chicken sandwich was great so I'll hope to give it another try.
for a takeout spot it doesn’t get better. fast service, consistent menu, and asian flavors. the ebi sando could’ve been more firm, tasted a bit too much starch, but i like how it wasn’t overly saucy and there was a good amount of veg. chicken bites were hot and spicy, definitely worth as a side. i’d pass on the fries next time, were fine but nothing special flavor wise. friends pork banh mi was also good, the bread was more soft than toasty.
Slow, nowhere to sit, but tasty.

Pork banh mi was out of balance. It’s pricey at $18 but there is a lot of pork. Unfortunately, it was dry and there weren’t enough pickled veg to balance it out.
Ebi (shrimp) katsu sando was solid. Good texture, great bun and definitely needed the wedge of lemon to add some acidity to each bite.
Ramen fries were okay - good texture, but just a bit too salty. Needs a better dipping sauce other than ketchep. Kewpie/sriracha would be a good move
Loud reggaeton music is a good vibe if you like it. If not, you may find it a bit too loud if you’re trying to have a conversation at the single table inside. The Sonos speaker is literally right above the table.
Outside seating is limited. Recommend ordering ahead - they are BUSY during lunch rush and they run out of specials quickly.

We had the House Bahn Mi and the Sisig Bolillo and it did not disappoint. I’m going to grab a few sandwiches for my flight to Europe skipping the airplane food 😂😂😂✈️

Excellent Vietnamese take on a spicy chicken sandwich. Love the crust and spice level. Only gripe is the unjuatifiably high price, especially for counter serve. Just under $20 out the door for only the sandwich.

This review is just for the Sichuan Hot Chicken which I've eaten twice. Overall it's pretty good, but it's not great, and I really want it to be great. In concept this is a really thoughtful and well-executed sandwich. It has great veggies and really crisp, juicy chicken. It reminds me of what I had in the night markets in Taiwan. The breading is good too, although I feel it could be a bit thicker.
Where it falls short for me is in flavor. The Sichuan spices are there, but they are overpowered by the sheer amount of chili powder and salt that the chicken is breaded in. I was looking for more in the sauce as well - honestly maybe just adding more sauce would accomplish that. If I could get more of that peppercorn flavor, less salt, and more sauce, I think it'd be a 10/10.

Sichuan chicken sandwich really hits. Tasty Taiwanese style fried chicken but in sandwich form? Insane. I've never been the biggest fan of deli sandwiches, but the one I had here (hot coppa) was easily the best cold sandwich I've eaten. Big fan of the sodium levels in everything (plenty).
Also they're not lying when they say "large" cookie. That's a LARGE cookie!

The customer is just Ok the employees are kind of rude and dry I’m a delivery driver and I ask the young lady working the register to put my name for the order as the company I worked for and she rolled her eyes I wish the deli across the street would reopen they are much more polite don’t know if I’ll be back.
