This is a calm respite in the midst of downtown. The food was amazing and it made me feel good the rest of the day. Who says you can’t buy happiness. Come. Eat here!!!

Great gd fried chicken sandwich utilizing the proper part of the chicken for the sandwich aka dark meat. The bread was also an amazing vessel as it was soft and just the right amount of chew.

Stopped in for lunch and got the Caesar salad with chicken & Vietnamese iced coffee. Salad was ginormous & both were delicious. Staff were all super friendly and engaging. The space was cute & airy with lots of seating. Will be back!

Went here for the first time yesterday and tried the spicy version of their Japanese beef bowl, which is a fancy version of gyudon with kimchi, salad, and a poached egg on top. This was full of flavor as I immediately devoured it. Overall, the place is clean and cozy, and the staff are friendly.

The only thing preventing me from coming here more often is the location, as it's about a 12 minute walk from where I work.

Consistently the best lunch spot in Downtown Oakland. Fresh, interesting salads and rice bowls. Something that is really cool about this place is their creative specials which are amazing. So cool to have a local lunch spot doing inventive and interesting things. Friendly vibes and bright space.

Local spot with relaxed vibe. The macha infused waffles paired with crispy and juicy chicken was a tasty surprise. So many delicious things to explore on the menu.

I have liked what I've had here, they make decent food and tasty drinks! However, I live next door to them but can never rely on the hours they say they are open ever. It's really a rare occasion for me to stumble upon them being open for business.

My favorite salad spot in Oakland! Salads are always fresh, crisp, and interesting, and the stellar fried chicken add-on makes it a satisfying meal. I always look forward to coming back.

So I thought I would support a nice looking local restaurant and was disappointed. I ordered the crunchy salad and it was everything but crunchy. Missing the apples and blueberries, it was a box of lettuce with the avocado I added. Other than that it was fine.
