Not an indoor location. Popeyes. Only outdoors. And you're going to be sharing your outdoor benches and tables with other homeless people who are tossing their food onto the ground in front of the Popeyes location.

Other than atmosphere, the Popeyes is okay for courteousness, and chicken quality is also okay for this visit.

They did have a note posted by the register of payment types they wouldn't accept. This isn't noted on the Popeyes website. Nor is it noted Google maps or Yelp. So if you're bringing a specialized payment type, beware you may not be able to pay.

Depending on how closely you guard your kids, this place is not kid friendly. Since it's downtown. And there's no place to be safe inside of this location. It's a walk-up and take away only.

Since it's in the middle of the city center mall, good luck finding any kind of parking nearby that is low-cost or free. You just have to bite the bullet and eat the parking charge if you're going to come pick up your chicken at this Popeyes location in downtown Oakland.

I just got the mild 2pc chicken combo like 15mins ago today, 11/10/25 from this place, and when I tried the chicken, it's not seasoned, even the batter is not seasoned. What happened? So disappointed. The chicken was fried to perfection though. My receipt was not given to me.

The last time coming here theres a girl name unique shes very rude and very selective of who she gives free condiments and who she charges and smelling like weed while making my order as a manager this is so unprofessional changes can always be made

Just a heads up to management. I got rotavirus from this place. How is it transmitted? From contaminated feces to mouth. How do I know it was from here? This place was the only one I had ANY food in 28 hours. I ended up in the ER and 4 days later, I'm still dealing with this. Not to mention my hygiene is great.

Hello I am giving this Popeyes all 5 stars service is great I eat there at least 3,to4 times a week and always have been treated good and fair even when they about to close I placed my orders online and they always let me pick up my order layter on in the evening so thanks Popeyes for your hard work
