Probably my favorite bagel place anywhere, and I used to live in NYC! The bagels are somewhat less dense than Boichik, which I prefer, and the toppings are phenomenal - make sure to try the basic sando.

I love poppy’s bagels so much. The basic bagel is so good I have trouble trying anything else. It’s simple but beautiful and a treat for the taste buds. Bit of a line on weekends but for good reason. They have ruined other bagels for me but I’m not even mad.

Service takes a little long but there’s a patio at the back to eat. I had the vegan green garden and overall it was pretty good. Wish the olives were more bright and could do with some more zinginess but overall really good. The vegan cashew cream cheese is mild and pretty good.

Delicious Lox bagel sandwich and spicy chai tea latte! You can espresso to the chai lattes which was awesome! The bagels have a crispy crunch and sandwiches are served open. Quite a long wait, even after ordering ahead for pickup. Also very few indoor spots to sit (patio is under construction), though great bagel shop!

Disappointed the egg sandwich isn’t available on the weekends but I’m sure it helps move the line quicker. In my opinion the texture of the bagel was a bit too chewy but I’ll be back to try again. Size of the ice chai was huge, especially for the price.

We ordered several platters from Poppy Bagel for our post wedding brunch and I could not recommend any higher! The presentation on the platters was gorgeous and coordination was flawless, including arranging delivery early on a Sunday. Everything was delicious, but the serrano cream cheese is something special, and our vegan friends were raving about the cashew cream cheese.

Albeit a little on the small side, good bagel and nice cream cheese selection. Order 3 bagels with cream cheese to-go and got home to find 1 was missing cream cheese. I get it was Sunday morning and busy, but pretty big miss.

Bagels are dense, chewy, and a must-try. Closest to a classical NYC's EssaBagel that I've had in the East Bay, a bit nicer and softer though. I'll be back for sure.

We used Poppy Bagels Catering services for our office breakfast. The owner Reesa was great to deal with, very easy to communicate with, and gave us lots of options. She was able to give me options within our budget which was really helpful and appreciated. Once the bagels got here, the presentation was amazing and there were a few delicious different types of cream cheese. They have an amazing chive lemony lox one, and a black truffle one, among others. We have ordered twice from them and the 2nd time we got the platter of things to build our own sandwiches. it came with smoked salmon, onions, capers, sprouts, tomatoes, lemon, and cucumbers and a few different cream cheeses. All our staff loved the bagels both times and went back for 2nds and 3rds throughout the day. This will be in our regular breakfast rotation now. Thank you Poppy Bagels!
