Had a first date at this place. Didn't realize at the time that they do comedy on Thursdays. I will be going back for comedy on Thursday with or without my date. The service was fantastic. The bartender was very attentive and listened. Maybe a little too much! (Ha!) But he took my order answered all my questions and the food was tasty. Not spectacular but tasty. I will definitely be going back!

I used to love this place, but now it’s just kind of dirty and the staff are VERY rude. Servers seem to ignore black customers and kept bringing drinks out to the cooks on break (mind you this was at 430pm so why are they drinking?). We never even got menus because the staff were so focused on serving free stuff to themselves. We ended up walking out and when we asked to see a manager, the Asian guy up front straight up laughed at me and said “I’m the manager but I’m busy” and took a sip of beer. It’s really a shame because I actually organized fundraisers to keep their other pizza shop Philomena open and now they treat customers like this. Never coming back

The food was good, they have a delicious waffle and home potatoes but the eggs where terrible. The atmosphere is a little loud and crowded outside. They bathroom was clean. Inside is a dark bar with a little seating, it's ok but had a lot of flies inside.

This spot is located near the tennis courts and lake Merritt. The chicken and waffles did their job. Good place to go in a group. Lots of air in the outside. Dani had great charisma. Joshua handle the order and made sure I got what I needed on point. A come-back-to spot for sure
The best food I had while in Oakland "bar" none. I'm just shocked that I found a place with legitimate Gluten Free options. Still shocked. Fish Tacos better than San Diego. Best grilled Brussels ever. Evening bartender works his butt off. You better tip this guy.
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The night I was there, only two staff members took care of the bar, inside, and outside. The took great care of us and we never had to wait.
Inside is a little cramped, but the outside is very nice. They have big fans and retractable roofs to keep it very comfortable.
The food was excellent! We had the buffalo wings, crispy brussel sprouts, fried chicken basket, and the fish tacos. Good beer selection.
