Food is delicious and fresh!! Watermelon and the mixed fruit (pineapple grapes and strawberries) are my favorite sweet and juicy. I don't think they expect ebt no sign in the window or inside.... but it is worth your time and money!

Made a quick trip to Blick today and got hungry, so decided to something new. I came here based off of the reviews and was not disappointed. My boyfriend for the chicken parm and I got the original breakfast on a croissant. Waited only 5 minutes, and the food was delicious. I will be back :) *Forgot to mention, the prices are extremely reasonable and the food quality really does the talking. I would've taken a photo of our food but it was just too good.

I ate here everyday for some time. They have very good coffee and solid breakfast + lunch sandwiches. Try the Father Earth. Super friendly staff! Really good people. Great prices and good ingredients. Generally very consistent, but I've noticed the quality of the meat go down as the prices have come up of the last months.

A decade ago, I worked at Temescal Pool and ate here almost every day between shifts. I always went because the sandwiches were delicious and super reasonably priced. Today, I was running an errand at the pet store next door and decided to check it out again for old times sake. My sandwich was delicious and tasted EXACTLY as I remember it. The price was still reasonable. And to my surprise, the owner remembered me after all these years! It really made my day. So much in Oakland has changed over the years but it was great knowing that this little gem has stayed the same.
