I come here a lot before work and I have been coming there for more than 15 years. It’s a local moms and pops and they are always welcoming and food is always hot and fresh. If you are in downtown Oakland check them out for breakfast and lunch options.
We were headed for Alameda to snag some Philapino food, but I had to stop and grab a simple grilled cheese sandwich from the Prospect Park Grille first, and for two very strong reasons...1- they're the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the world! And 2- Philapino food is great, but it doesn't fill me up so I have to eat first.

Excellent breakfast, to walk in to order and have your food within 6 minutes is crazy! Service is perfect, the lady in front is real sweet and warm she makes you feel at home. Definitely will be a repeat visitor.
