We started with a great atmosphere with Robyn. We came a long way to bring my nephew Roger, who lives in Hayward . We're visiting from the Bronx NYC. Eric was wonderful and invited us in. The five of us ordered the pernil ,arroz con gandules, canoa, amarillo, toastones, and empanadas. The food was delicious. Eric served us with love. We had a conversation. Absolutely amazing - no notes! We had the pollo plate and the carne guisa, both were seasoned to perfection, so delicious. The beef especially was so tender, melt in your mouth, and the sauce with the chicken just perfect. The owner/chef, Eric, was so kind and welcoming! He came out and spoke to us about the different rices and gave us a free plate of the arroz blanco and it was insane. Definitely come try it out!
EXCELLENT food and service! Chef Rivera is a wonderful soul serving up incredible food! We’ve tried almost all of the items on the menu and love it all. My personal favorites are the carne guisada with rice, platanos maduros, and THE sauce (I need to know what this sauce is! Incredible.)! Looking forward to eating here again soon.
