UPDATE MARCH 6 2024 - Drive-through remains the only option, which is really slow.Over the past few weeks, I went from loving this location, to being very disappointed by it. Quality of food is lackluster compared to other locations in California, and the frequent drive-through only times is a climate warming inconvenience. I'll give y'all another try a year from now - please get better.

The only part that is going to cost you is waiting 3 hours plus to get your food. Cash only for the card user have like $100 in hand for 2 people. Good food to bad they forgot our

Stop thru on our way to Napa. Took so long because we didn’t know we could not go inside to eat. Only drive thru order so be and we waited almost an hour on Saturday. Once inline no turning back. The food was excellent though worth the wait. Staff friendly and nice.Had to eat in the car not where i felt like eating after sitting in car for an hour.

Very tasty. Parking lot is a bit crazy. Better when people are working to control the line and take orders. Yum. Sad when they aren't.

The sauce is the best part! Chicken was fresh and tasted good. The employees were friendly as well. However, I stayed in the drive through line for 50 mins to get my order. It was at 2.00 p.m., so wasn’t lunch or dinner time. Once I got into the line, I immediately regretted it. The food wasn’t worth a 50 minute wait unfortunately.

I ordered the Box combo. I waited for 30 minutes around 4pm on a Thursday. The chicken tenders seemed like they weren't fried long enough cause the breading tasted off... the flavor was bland. The fries were ok but not warm. The Texas toast was probably my favorite. The Sweet tea was good. It was not overly sweet and just the right amount of ice. The cashier who gave me the food was sweet, great attitude and asked if I needed anything. Service was great but the food was just not great over all. The long wait for the food just wasn't worth ever going back.Parking: I wouldn't suggest to park there. Look around it's a terrible neighborhood. No wonder why Walmart closed down and Starbucks shut down. It's a bad area no wonder Canes is a card only no cash spot.

Bring a book to read, or maybe a movie to watch. You will be stuck in line for a long time.

Absolutely the worst canes I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting.First of all, you’re risking your life going to this area of Oakland. It’s drive thru only due to the violent crime in the area. You’ll notice the security guard FOR A DRIVE THRU.The employees there clearly do not give a damn about anything. You will not be treated kindly or with respect. Then, You will wail 45+ mins in said drive thru, only for them to get your order wrong or receive stale fries and cold chicken. (Then not be able to rectify this mistake because you can’t go inside or back up in a drive thru)This canes is a lost cause. Dont waste your time. You will absolutely be disappointed in every way. Canes made a mistake choosing this area to establish in the bay.
