Miss old management, old Banh Mi sandwiches were better. Miss you Pho and Baguette!
The place is small but the food is good.👍
Haven't eaten at this venue for about 3 and a half years. I was happy to see it was still open. I came here for the PHO. As 3 and a half years ago it had the same great taste. Price increased but that was expected. I will continue to come here to this small venue everytime I come visit.
$10 for the grilled pork banh mi, incredible bread! Vegetables didn't taste very pickled. our server was so nice :)
Was in the area and I was so cold and needed a hot meal. I ended up ordering the springs rolls without pork, and it was you know the basic. They didn't clean the end trails well, and the rolls were quite small (btw there were 4 pieces, which is 2 rolls cut in half) . The peanut sauce was watered down & lacking flavor. Then I ordered the beef stew with the rice noodles, and it was inedible to me with a slight strange bitter flavor that was unpalettable to me. The beef was cooked till tenderness, but the overall flavor was off. I can see it being a good dish for someone who has a baby palette because it was bland and bitter. Service was smooth and nice. Vegetables served with the food was washed well and fresh. I can't really recommend this place because as a vietnamese woman raised in a viet home the flavor lacked for me, and the prices are quite high. This could be an intro restaurant for someone who's afraid of flavor cause it's a safe bland flavor. The bill was 35 for a drink, fresh spring rolls, and a bowl of bitter beef stew that i couldn't eat. They said they must've put too much curry seasoning in the stew. My words of wisdom for the cooks is- Balance is key when cooking.
Btw i left with my taste buds unhappy and still hungry! Sick a huge disappointment 😞

This is my go-to pho place, and I can’t bring myself to go anywhere else! Their pho is amazing, but I especially like their Cơm Sườn Nướng. The food here is consistently delicious. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Excellent Vietnamese food, the best in the Bay. Simple environment with exceptional food.

this was our third choice {1st opens back up at 5pm & 2nd did NOT open-back-up}...it should of been our 1st.
we enjoyed their Bun' & House Special. Great Customer service, I asked for additional sauce {no problem} & she came to refill water & check on us. Another plus is they have a parking lot

Not a big fan of this place. Everything was expensive from their pho to banh mi and iced coffee. Pictures online showed phin filters, but I saw they were already premade waiting to be filled with ice. $7 is definitely steep for iced coffee. The meat wasn't high quality either and the overall flavor profile seemed bland. Not the best but certainly not the worst place.

The food was good and they gave big portions. You can tell that the staff care about their customers in everything that they do. The price also couldn’t be beat; it was $68 for this whole order.
For starters, there was a mix up with my call in order and I was seated to wait for them to fix it. There was no fuss over this mix up at all. When I was leaving with the order, one of the staff helped bring it out with me to my car and even waited to make sure I got inside the car with my order.
I had the rice with shredded pork + grilled pork, shrimp spring rolls, and the lemonade; chicken banh mi’s was also ordered.
The rice with shredded pork and grilled pork had a good ratio of greens, rice, and meat. Nước chấm (fish sauce mix) was given as well as some paste-y red sauce. Everything was light enough that I could pour all of the fish sauce on. 4/5 taste wise
The shrimp spring rolls were solid. 3/5 for the peanut sauce (I’m more of a just hoisin person) and the roll itself was a 5/5. However, the ratio of ingredients was more greens heavy than I would personally prefer.
The lemonade was okay. I appreciate that the purée was separate from the soda to be combined by the customer, but there was too much soda for the amount of purée given. I would have preferred the drink mixed when given. I was given the drink in a to go cup holder and a spoon to stir the soda with the purée. 3/5 taste wise
The banh mi’s were very filling and good. I was told 4/5. There was enough meat and vegetables; a solid ratio. One person that had this had dietary restrictions and they made sure to accommodate.
Overall, a very positive experience and I look forward to trying the banh mi myself.
Dietary restrictions: For the banh mi, they removed jalapeños and put the pickled vegetables to the side when asked.

The rice plates are good. Pho is okay. Bun Rieu is tasty. Banh mi is decent, made with fresh bread but I wish the veggies were more pickled. Perfect serving sizes, not too big and not too small. Great service in a cozy little space.
Rang Dong Restaurant is where Pho Baguette used to be. It is located in Alameda, Neptune Plaza.I stopped in to get my favorite dish - the #33 - vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. It also has a small salad of shredded lettuce, carrots, cucumber and daikon, and a little container of fish sauce. I always order the same menu item to go. I know I should switch up and order other items on their menu.Service is great, and the employees are friendly and helpful.Love this restaurant because it is within distance from my home.
