I was planning on eating at Belly for lunch not realizing they’d moved, so I decided to try the new place out. I did not regret it!
The food was great, the service was pleasant, and the vibe was very chill. The woman who served us was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu (I have a shellfish allergy, so this is important for me in particular).
I ended up having the curry. The veggies were perfectly cooked and the flavor was on point. Chicken was still moist and the rice was fluffy.
Will definitely be returning.

I live in Maryland and while walking back to my hotel from the metro in the dark I was freezing, hungry tired and lost. I walked by and it smelled soo good I had to walk in the lady at the register was so helpful helping me choose and when I told her I was out of town and having trouble getting back to the hotel she was so kind to make sure I got back safe and convinced me to take a uber and I did. The food was soo hot and fresh it was absolutely delicious. It was exactly what I needed after a stressful evening. I am so grateful to her for showing such care. The name of my food was chicken with eggplant. I highly recommend this place. Great food and wonderful service!

A blessing for the Uptown neighborhood! My fiancé and I have delighted in having a Thai joint so close by, and have in particular loved their pad see yew and yellow curry. The people who run the restaurant are kind and inviting, and we should band together to support this fledgling local business.

I just ordered the Nam Khao, I’d never had it before and it was really amazing. It’s worth going their just for it. It’s also a really big portion, it could feed 2 people as an entree, or 4-6 people as an appetizer.
I’m gonna recommend to as many people as I can!

The friendly server was very attentive and gave us great suggestions when we were torn on what entrees to order. Dined around 12:30p on a Saturday and there was a ton of seating. Took less than 15 minutes for us to get both of our entrees after we ordered. They also provide side plates for family-style eating which I appreciate.
Vegetarian options: The server made sure to let us know we could ask for vegetarian substitutes for any of the dishes with a meat protein before we took our order.

We visited Saturday when it just opened. The food was amazing. We got the laab ped (duck), seen savanh (beef jerky) and the mok pa (catfish). Laab ped was my favorite with the fresh mint and burst of flavor. The beef jerky was also addictive with a bit of sweetness. The staff was also very attentive and checked in with us multiple times. Overall it was a great experience and we would go back again!

My friend and I came across Rose Garden Uptown tonight and decided to go in to check it out. We loved it. We got the Roti (I ate the curry sauce with a spoon), Nam Khao (fried rice salad - absolutely delicious), and Yum Salad Lao (super fresh and flavorful). Love the attention to making amazing Laotian food at an affordable price. It's cozy and fairly casual and completely tasty.
