Good no-nonsense place for lunch near Oakland City Center. Not much in terms of atmosphere, but solid pho and vermicelli bowls at a decent price, reasonably fast. On my rotation of lunch spots.

The chicken in the Chicken Noodle soup was tough to chew and Vegetarian Hot and Sour Soup turned out to be steamed vegetables (mix). Turned out to be sweet.
Vegetables weren't fresh and looked like it was cut a couple of days before they served. When asked why the vegetables look half rotten they didn't even change my serving. We could neither eat nor get out of there. Just spent $30 on garbage.

We came to this resturatant for special lunch time and the boss is discrimination against us part of deaf and communication of the lack to not let us know why. It really rude and not a professional for him this restaurant. He is a careless behavior and I'm not accept that. Next time , be kindness to other humans .

Saigon Restaurant, delicious Vietnamese cuisine. I have tried few dishes and i must say this is one of my favorite Oakland locations for good Vietnamese classics - grilled pork vermicelli or over rice, imperial rolls, chicken curry. The Pho choices and combinations are endless, my favorite is beef flank steak, tendon and tripe. Reasonable prices, good service.
