Great food. Ordered the Tibs with lamb/beef spicy. The taste was great, friendly staff, great service. Fun time. Would recommend this family owned and run restaurant.

Had a craving for this style cuisine and they did not disappoint! The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate me late in the evening. I was able to enjoy the beef tibes and injera. I wish I could rank the food six out of five because there was so much delicious flavor in the mail and it left me wanting more. I will definitely be back!
I forgot to take a picture because thats how hungry I was.

The food here is so amazing you need to try it ASAP. After we ordered we were sitting outside waiting for our food and I commented to my partner that it smelled so good I wished my phone had a way to share the smell with other people (yes, I was high) and at that exact moment a guy in an electric wheelchair rolled by on MLK and said, "Damn! That smells good!

Food is really tasty and they give generous portions. Probably the best Ethiopian food I’ve had in Oakland. I’ve only seen Ethiopian patrons when going - which is a good sign about authenticity. However, it’s not a nice sit down restaurant where you can expect to be served and catered to.

Ok, it's a humble place, I knew that. But it was the worst veggie combo I've had in my life so I just had to shout about it. Went for the kitfo, which they were out of, so ordered a combo, and that shiro was just really revolting. Looked like nacho cheese. And no lentils on a veggie combo? I mean come on. Huge portion, very sweet owner, hate to write a bad review but I'd go elsewhere for Ethiopian food.

Small, cozy Eritrean restaurant. Appears to be a congregation spot for the community. Reasonable prices for consistently good food: the photos are from two visits.
