You know I love Sliver. They are a cheeseboard off shoot that does veggie pizzas. Most locations do one per day that rotates. This one is an odd one... They offer a pizza of the day but also have other classics (mushroom, corn) that you can order only in whole pies. They only had 2 staff on a Monday night so things went slowly... Besides our group there was no one else in there which was kind of a bummer. Not surprised if this place doesn't last long. It just doesn't have the same warm vibes as other locations.

Got to try the famous sliver pizza! The pizza of the day was the tomato mozzarella but I really wanted the corn pizza so we ordered a whole pie! This location is great because you can order pies of the other popular flavors The corn pizza was so unique! I loved adding the lime to the pizza which helped cut the saltiness for me. I wish the corn on the pizza was a bit sweeter but overall this pizza was delicious! I didn't like adding the green sauce to this though because it would over power the flavor of the pizza The cashier then offered us two free slivers of the pizza of the day so we got to try the tomato mozzarella! This was okay and tasted like a margarita pizza if anything Overall great experience

Sliver served top not pizza! I love how they have the option for their one type of pizza a day but For kiddos you can always just order the cheese pizza. I actually really appreciate that because let's be honest not everyone going with you if you're in a group may want corn on their pizza! I know we've had that experience before so the fact that you can have another option is nice. Also I love that they have green and red sauces to add to the pizza enhancing its already delicious flavor! This particular location offers lots of seating and plenty of places to park outside. It's really in a great location and good if you want to bring groups with you to watch the game, have a beer and enjoy some good food! Service is all around great so no complaints there! Next time I go I think I'll stay and dine in!

One of our favorite pizza chains in the Bay! The Valdez location always has a variety to choose from and our slices always come out perfectly!Music can get loud sometime but we usually choose to sit in a booth rather than out in the open. Always end up here when we want a quick and delicious bite!

First visit here. Picked up a "pizza of the day" mushroom pizza with mozzarella, goat cheese, herbs, onions, and garlic mushroom olive oil. Crust is thin, chewy, a bit oily that gives it a slight crunch as it fried in the oven. Not a fan of this crust. The flavors were ok. The green sauce is a pesto that is ok. It was $28 for a 14" pizza. Not worth the money in my opinion, but there are plenty of people who would disagree based on the reviews

No matter what is going on in the day I know that what I want good pizza and good service I go right over to sliver Pizza on Valdez and they always take care of me even had a bad experience at another location in Lafayette and I spoke to the manager and he always takes care of me..I do wish the parking was a little easierVegetarian options: They need to make pizza of the day two options at least I like to get the tomato with the mozzarella and the corn more pleaseParking: The parking is located near apartment buildings on top of this establishment so parking can be extremely difficult at times I find that double parking is slightly easier because you're out in 15 minutesKid-friendliness: Yesssss. Kids are welcomedWheelchair accessibility: The dining area for eating is completely open so wheelchair accessibility is definitely easier the requirements for state law are definitely of standard

Tl;dr the corn pizza is the best one and get a BUNCH of green sauce. Don't get the tomato pizza just because pizza usually equates to tomato! Sliver is not like typical pizza. The tomato is good but can't compare to corn. Potato is second best and mushroom is third. This is one of my favorite styles of pizza and I really hope this location finds success like it's others. Sliver originally opened in Berkeley after Cheeseboard's model. If you're in Berkeley, I recommend cheeseboard over sliver for both taste and the fact that they're a co-op; however, I am very grateful that sliver opened up so many locations, and I'm able to eat it in so many different places. The service is great and the workers are super friendly. This location is significantly less busy than the others because it just opened. Sometimes, if you go at closing, they'll give you a little extra pizza than you paid for, and I love it so much. There is plentiful seating. Both booths and tables. This location is very well designed. Sometimes there is outdoor seating, but I haven't seen it recently. Parking: most street parking, there's both paid and unpaid parking. There's also a paid open parking lot a block away, and a paid Alta waverly parking garage around the corner. They're both pricier than the street parking, but there are sometimes break-ins in the area so beware.

Used to love sliver at Berkeley but this time was a miss. I just ordered a potato pizza and it was burnt, super tough to eat. It looked like they just reheated the pizza and over cooked it. Not made fresh to order. Really disappointed this time around considering it was $30 now for a pizza.

Every time I'm on Oakland I make it a POINT to stop at slivers for a slice of their pizza. Hands down one of the best pizza slices I've ever had and it doesnt even have any meat!!! My favorite is their potato, elote, and mushroom pizza. Whether you are a vegetarian or not please come try slivers they have multiple locations!

This is a review comprising two different visits. On the first occasion I was eating some of the full pizzas ordered by a friend, one was the daily special flavor (roma tomatoes, dino kale, mozzarella, asiago fresh cheese blend, fresh herbs, and thyme infused garlic olive oil) and the other was the potato pizza, which is one of the standard pizza flavors they have available for purchase everyday. I actually liked the potato pizza better, and I'd say it's a solid choice if you like savory food.The second time I came back, they had a daily flavor that contained corn, pineapple, Chile pasilla, mozzarella, French feta, cilantro lemon zest, and garlic olive oil. I was intrigued since I have never seen Sliver offer a pineapple flavor before. We ordered in person (I didn't realize until later they do have an order ahead online option, but you'd have to go through DoorDash instead of the Sliver website) and they estimated a 10 min wait. Unlike some of the busier Sliver locations which usually seem to be making pizza ahead and slicing it as you order, this location gets very little traffic every time I've visited, so they are probably baking the pizza to order. The architecture/design inside feels very industrial. They didn't even have music playing at first so you could hear electronic buzzing sounds which seemed like they were from the fridge or freezer; even when they did turn on the music, it was not enough to drown out the sound. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They don't have a limit on how much sauce you can take currently, so you can just self serve for their famous green sauce.I thought the pineapple flavor was pretty good, it was enough to add a sweet and acidic tang to the food but they were also generous with the cheese. You'll probably like it if you like pineapple on your pizza and don't mind that there's no meat. However, I am disappointed that they didn't put their own namesake, a sliver, on top as we had ordered a whole pizza. (Maybe this location just doesn't do it because they make it to order rather than mass-baking a bunch of pizzas for the lunch and dinner rushes?)

Well this is the 3rd Sliver restaurant I've been to my first visit ever was at the Rockridge location it was amazing from the view the large parking lot with other great places to go and try out the exquisite Safeway with the elevators Andy extra parking upstairs great, but back to my sliver experiences but the green sauce they make is addictive it goes good on about everything I even bought some to take home to put on a breakfast burrito I also put it on some bagel bites but they also have beer and Fresca they offer salads and desserts as well a chocolate chip brownie dessert pie so back to my experience on the sleigh there in Oakland on Valdez the ambience was amazing it was really clean and they're nice the bathrooms were cool they could've been cleaned a little more the employees were awesome but the only thing I was upset about was my pizza was burnt slightly still good but burnt but overall the pizza was still good and I've also tried the Danville location And they offered margaritas mango or peach And a different variety of flavors like guava also the Oakland location on Valdez also offers beer and margaritas too. That's fantastic the parking is tough but it's great for afternoon or easy dinner getaway and by the way it's vegan friendly and vegetarian no meat whatsoever and that's good I'm not a vegetarian but I love vegetarian pizza s from sliver and extra green sauce I call it {[ crack ] sauce yummy if your love pizza but you're not a meat eater this spot is good the go to pizzeria spot that you must check with and btw they'll be opening up another Sliver in Fremont as well .. until my next visit I'm over and out Adios..
