Okay food

Food was decent. Wasn't the best bbq I've had but far from the worst. Prices are pretty fair for standard bbq meats.I was fortunate enough to get the last brisket sandwich for the day. The bun was nice and fluffy, and the condiments: pickles, onions, picked red onion, and bbq sauce were good. The brisket was a little old but still had great flavor. Potato salad was decent though could have used more seasoning. At least it didn't taste only of mayonnaise like some places I've been to. My brother got the rib plate and while the ribs had good smoky flavor, the meat was a bit skimp on the bones.The liquor store it's in has a great selection of snacks and drinks to add to your bbq meal which was nice.Overall pretty decent BBQ but could be better. Would come again for a quick meal.

The smoke salmon is absolutely delicious

Ordered this because Everest and Jones was closed. Was surprising good. I ordered the rib dinner and the sauce was outstanding. But never had is bbq place make me choose between beans and potatoe salad. I chose potato salad and it was way to picklely my taste should have ok ordered the beans but for $20 they could have added a scoop of beans

Food was amazing brisket, links, and chicken omg the was tender with great taste.

No barbque sauce on the wings. Don't like the roll, beans, nor potato salad. Had to wait 40 mins.

Fantastic brisket!

As a Memphian I have a high standard for smoked pork and chicken. Y'all, THEY SMOKE THOSE MEATS GOOOOOOOOOD. They deserve the name SmOakRing with the thick smoke ring visible on the meats. Tried the chicken, ribs (my fav) and the brisket. 10/10. Got amazing desserts as well!

Super friendly people, huge portions and amazing food (especially the brisket, smoked salmon and chicken wings)! So glad they’re in the neighborhood.

SmOakring offers good ole bbq for those who know bbq! Everything we ordered was tender, meat fell right off the bone. The owners were excellent hosts ! If you find yourself in San Francisco /Oakland and looking for the best Smoked BBQ - then visit this place!!!

Five stars for the beer, three for the food. We got the fish tacos and the pulled pork sandwich, and both were pretty bland- the tacos would have been better with salsa or some lime juice, and the pork sandwich had such thick bread I could barely taste the pork or the coleslaw.That being said, the beer is excellent. We had the Belgian Saison and it was crisp, refreshing, and slightly funky. Everything I want out of a Saison. The beer is good enough that I'll definitely be back and try some of the other food.The outdoor seating is also nice to enjoy during good weather, and means we can bring our dog which is always nice.

An amazing deal! Brisket sandwich plus a side for$12?! That doesn't happen in the bay! Plus the sandwich is huge, brisket is moist and tasty, and the potato salad is on point.
