Felt like the two dishes we order were rationed, our potato salad and greens was very small, and the Sausage was over cooked and ribs had not a lot meat on it. But my dessert $6 was a tiny piece of cake.
Came in around 7 PM today and had a terrible experience. The ribs were dry, hard, and cold, which is unacceptable for a BBQ place. The server was rude, dismissive, and made us feel like an inconvenience instead of customers. No effort to fix anything, no apology, no customer service. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend to anyone.

Listen, that atmosphere was on point with a smooth vibe, Dominique served us, she was very attentive and got us squared away ASAP, James came out to check on us and make sure we were straight, the food was on point, I'll definitely be back and highly recommend

Smoking Woodâs barbecue is a cautionary tail in iterative disappointment. One time, I ordered Smokin Woods barbecue and it was perfect. The meat was tender and vaguely what I ordered but the following five times that I ordered from Smokin Woods BBQ they delivered me items I did not order and weâre not similar to the ones that I had ordered and it took forever so I thought what if I go in person. So I did and I had high hopes they were false placed whoever was cooking the night that I had ordered that very first time is a hero and should be the only person cooking there. But what I got was pretty marginal dry meat that was difficult to order and had incredibly un enthusiastic staff and an incredibly loud environment and it was just an overall unpleasant experience really really disappointed, sad face

This is where I eat when I'm home sick for oakland.
I have yet to have anything from this menu that is not excellent. But my particular favorites are the brisket and the beef rib

The service was terrible; the woman who works there lacks courtesy and friendliness, and needs to treat customers with more respect.

My first time going to this establishment. I was grateful that they something on the menu that was pescatarian friendly đ I ordered the smoked salmon with green beans and potato salad. The food was ok but, my drink was hella good!! My smoked salmon was cooked perfectly, the string beans were good ,the potato salad could've been better. It's a great place to watch the games and meet up with friends to hangout

Great bbq ribs. Wish brisket was more marbled before smoking, making it juicier. Flavor of the smoke and seasoning was delicious. Amazing beer choices. Sides were delicious. Banana pudding was very cool. Was like a tiramisu. Wish it had Banana slices though...

This is some of the best barbecue I've ever had an I saying a lot coming from somebody that lived in the south. I highly recommend this place especially for their peach cobbler and their mac and cheese! I have the three meat plate which was about $40 if I remember correctly but it's so worth the price especially again for the peach cobbler! I have no notes just praise for this restaurant! 10 out of 10 will definitely be eating here again!

I hardly ever write reviews, but the experience I had missed the mark so badly, I feel like others should know.
This review is for takeout so I canât really comment on the in-house service. I will note that the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night. The smell of smoke in this place is overwhelming. And whatever they use to simulate âsmokeâ is still lingering on my hands even after multiple washings, and not in a good way. Liquid smoke?
The meats: DRY and overcooked. We ordered the brisket, the beef link, the tri-tip (OMG $6 EXTRA?!?), the rib tips, and the pulled pork. The rib tips were inedible. Of all the things listed, only the pulled pork was decent.
The sides werenât bad, though. Good mac and cheese, good beans although comparable to Bushâs, and serviceable Brussels sprouts. I could have done without the bread being packaged on top of the beans though. It was super soggy.
Overall, the meal was EXPENSIVE and the portions were laughably small. Not a good value. Such a disappointmentâŠthere are literally no good BBQ places in this area. I miss Flints.
