3rd attempt trying this I believe in second &3rd chances my chicken sandwich was cold I waited 3hours for as I was very patient only for food to be under cooked and was very patient and understanding but hey flavor is always there they need more staff for the crowd clean their greens have some one teach how to do Mac and also potato salad beans As well meat has flavor everything else lack the little waiter she’s rude bar tender she cool

Had seen positive reviews of this location. Small spot but the bbq smoke smelled good from the outside. Walked in, saw the wait to be seated sign waited about 2 minutes before walking over to the bar where a lady was on her phone with her back to the door. Interrupted/got her attention and went back to the front to place an order but noticed a sign indicating out of about 6 items including pulled pork and peach cobbler. Was surprised since they had only been open less than 2 hours and the inside was not busy.
Placed the order to find out they don’t take cash. One item ordered was a kids meal with baked beans. The lady at the front indicated the chicken was a thigh. As we waited for the food, I asked a man who was behind the bar and passing out food if he’d have the chicken cut for the kids meal and he indicated it was boneless (he actually said meatless and once he realized it we laughed). Turns out the chicken we got was white meat and not dark, per the lady taking the order.
As I live in Sacramento, the order was to go. When I got home the order was wrong. Instead of greens and Mac n cheese, I had baked beans and potato salad. Smh
I called and the lady who took the call knew who played the food and the lady who took the order. She appreciated the honest feedback and is providing a refund for the 4 meat combo. I do appreciate it considering there’s no way I’m driving back to have it re-made. Did not like that the sauce was in the middle of the food. See image below.
I do which I could’ve tried the pulled pork and the cobbler but…
The meats are good. I appreciate when the sauce is on the side vs on the meat.

Try not to order through DoorDash or similar apps, as you’ll end up with part of your order missing. Food was alright at least Edit: For some reason, their brisket was very dry and my bf’s potato salad was way too salty. The mac and baked beans were fine.

Never been in this place, had their food as takeout many times. Pure sugar, no spices, and somehow they have gritty sausage. Every time I've had their sausage, it's gritty. Bland Mac and cheese. Runny beans that only taste like sugar. This place doesn't use near enough spice, but they use too much sugar. I don't recommend. I've never eaten this food and felt good after.

I didn’t dine in. I had it delivered. It was horrible. The meat was tough. The chicken was dry. The sides were just OK and the dessert was horrible. I usually order from here and the food is good. I really don’t know what happened this time inconsistent.

Food is delicious love the vibe good music . It’s the staff you could tell they do not want to be there. They do not get along. There’s a older man. I wanna say he has either like a French or Jamaican accent very handsome but very, very rude alongside with a heavy set Hispanic woman who has an attitude every time I go The manager looks like she’s trying she has a good attitude clearly, their some animosity amongst the staff I can hear the other staff complaining that the cashier wasn’t doing nothing just sitting there they forgot my potato salad, and instead of looking at my receipt, they brought like four members to my table to look around my table to see if I had disposed of it or ate it to still take 20 minutes to bring my side that I paid for
This restaurant has so much potential but with the staff‘s attitude is was going to bring it down they should treat everyone with respect regardless of one’s nationality or sexual preference
Everything was just okay, the customer service and the food. I got the pork ribs, beef link, baked beans and potato salad. The ribs and beans were delicious, the potato salad had way too much mustard, almost tasted like vinegar. The texture of the link was not to my liking but the flavor was good.

When it comes to BBQ these folks ain't playin'!
Everything was just okay, the customer service and the food. I got the pork ribs, beef link, baked beans and potato salad. The ribs and beans were delicious, the potato salad had way too much mustard, almost tasted like vinegar. The texture of the link was not to my liking but the flavor was good.
