Good food, but expensive for what it is. Very authentic and has a similar flavor profile as some of the noodle places I've had in Japan. I ordered the duck soba and the soup was quite bitter and medicinal. I can see why some people like it but personally not for me.
I have been going to Soba Ichi since it opened . I am constantly angry that I don't come here enough. I'm simply lazy and this restaurant does not deserve my laziness. I came here after spending nearly a month in Japan and I can comfortably say after 7 cities and 15 soba related meals that Soba Ichi is still the best. Soba Ichi serves delicious and authentic Japanese food. The duck appetizer was especially good — tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The interior has a traditional Japanese look, creating a calm and authentic atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient too.
