It was like we had gone back in time to Japan. The soba noodles and the Tsuyu were both delicious. Our only complaint was that the portions were not as generous as we hoped, especially for the price.
Good food, but expensive for what it is. Very authentic and has a similar flavor profile as some of the noodle places I've had in Japan. I ordered the duck soba and the soup was quite bitter and medicinal. I can see why some people like it but personally not for me.
I have been going to Soba Ichi since it opened . I am constantly angry that I don't come here enough. I'm simply lazy and this restaurant does not deserve my laziness. I came here after spending nearly a month in Japan and I can comfortably say after 7 cities and 15 soba related meals that Soba Ichi is still the best.
