Being half Japanese this brought so much joy for me. The quality of the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Please line up 30 min before they open as they get packed and they have one line to order.
The soba is a traditional dish passed along by its caretaker where every proprietor keeps the traditions as strict as possible without tainted biased towards one technique or another ingredient. This truer the product is to the labor and ingredients the more authentic the quality is. We as customers and consumers are just passersby’s to witness the current iteration as it’s peak of existence.
what a treat! thanks to an influencer, the place was packed. We waited over an hour but the food was worth and we loved the location. We had sashimi (fresh, amazing), and two types of soba (broth: outstanding). Plus a rather delicious Sake. Sake, like wine, comes in various qualities and their menu reflects it. apparently , they served 250 people last night and ran out of soba!
