This place hits the spot! Their Mac n cheese was so comfy and their mashed potatoes with gravy had the best flavor. Whenever I'm in town I'll make sure to stop there again and pick up a combo plate.

It’s located at a place that has several places in and it’s nice that anyone can have their own food options at the same table.
The service was nice and welcoming. Making the food took significant time. It’s very small place and more like a food truck kind of. Orders can pile up and take time.
The food was good tasting and portions were well sized. It was bit try and bit blend.
It’s nice to have a fully vegan place and I appreciate that.

(original comments post 2021, just updated to correct typos) I had the pleasure of visiting Souley Vegan once during a trip to San Francisco. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, indoor dining was not available, but we were still able to order some delicious food to go.
During our stay, we also planned to try a different vegan restaurant in Oakland, but it turned out to be closed. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Souley Vegan again through a GoogleMaps search.
When we arrived, the staff kindly took our orders even though we hadn't ordered online. The food was prepared to perfection and I still remember how amazing the greens tasted. My son and I especially loved the mac & cheese, which was 100% vegan.
Although the prices were a bit higher, I understand that certain menu items and ingredients can cost more for vegan restaurants. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely go back to Souley Vegan.

Sadly, I did not catch the owner's name. However , I will say her food is delightful! Tonight I enjoyed the chicken fried steak with the sides of Mashed potatoes and colored greens with a corn bread that comes with the meal. It comes with three sides however and corn bread.
Josh is a treat in himself that made my night.
I am impressed. I hope this place brings many smiles to many people like it did to mine.

Since stopping eating meat, I have from slim time to time missed burgers, I was raised a carnivore, anyway may have been just the night that I went and received my burger from here but I thought without a doubt, I was sinking My teeth into a mc double from mcdonald's. I was so blown away with happiness oh my, I do not know a single person that has eaten meat that does not enjoy a mc double from mcdonald's. This is no put down whatsoever! However, that was only 2 of my bites of my burger that tasted without a doubt, 100% identical and the authentic taste of this tottaly vegan burger in itself is genuinely delightful. I really meant no harm in my comment.It was honestly such a nostalgic feeling that brought me so much joy, I really hope you all take the best from this.

Maybe Cajun food isn't our thing. We thought the food was too fried but the combo meal was a good value. The Mac n cheese and potatoes had unexpected seasoning and I don't want to eat it all. Red velvet cake was bright red and didn't taste like red velvet. service was great but I wouldn't go back.

Loved to see all of the vegan options. It’s located within a food hall. There’s seating inside, a back patio and a few tables on the front sidewalk. The beignets were good.

Came to a meet up here with a bunch from San Francisco Veg Society. Very busy day. Had the biscuits and gravy. Would have liked thicker gravy but still they were good. And the BBF burger was super tasty. Only had the single patty. Left really full?
