It's a great place to chill out with no drama right in our own neighborhood. It's an older crowd. Good friendly people, the staff is great. It's like the bar from "Cheers", but in Oakland
It's one of the best black dive bars in the east. It could definitely use some refurbishment. Fully stocked alcohol; limited mixers; strong pour. For the most part mature crowd; people who like to drink, vibe, and have a good time. Always remember it's in the Hood; and technically anything could pop off at any moment. Great juke box with new and old jams.
Haven't been here since Pac died...lol. This is a classic spot and I had such a blast. Memories of when I used to be hitting the streets in my clubbing days lol. Older crowd and a lot of bikers but such a vibe. Security was hella cool too
