The hosts were gracious and the artists were good and the bartenders were really nice. It's a good space you know just enough room to dance

Came by to see Sipper and didn't know that it would be on the second floor. It felt very much a like a cool music venue with the neon lights, few seats, and the stage. I enjoyed the drink I got and I thought the atmosphere felt very intimate. I would suggest wearing earplugs for a concert as the small space made everything seem really loud!

Overall, the bar and food is pretty good. Both upstairs and downstairs venues have a good amount of room for smaller bands. The only thing I'd recommend going to this place for any show is to not park your car in this area !!!!I've been to a couple shows and got my window smashed and after that time I've decided to just take Lyft or Uber there. The people in the area take advantage of the bands tour vehicles too, also smashed one of the musicians windows to get in their van. The parking is just horrible around the place. All in all, had a good time at each show

Went to the Starline Social Club for the first time to see Flomilli. The neighborhood:It's pretty sketchy and gross with drug addicts and homeless walking up and down the streets. Thought about taking a Lyft/Uber to the BART station afterwards,, but felt safe enough to walk there. The BART station is 10 minutes or less away by foot. The map makes it look further away than it is. Parking is available on the street. The Venue:The venue is pretty small and is 2 storefronts merged into 1 space with the bar and overflow area downstairs and the performance area on the 2nd floor. It's pretty easy to get around. It's an older building, so you're going to see the wear and tear. They do offer food and drinks - I didn't try anything, so I can't speak to that. The Staff:Everyone was friendly and accommodating.Summary:All in all, I had a good time and would come back.

Just dug into Brussels sprouts yams and brown butter - so delicious!!!The chicken sando also has some wonderful garnishes and is perfectly cooked. Plus the pickles are the perfect foil to the sweet yams. The food here is great! I'll be back.

Cool venue for an intimate show, but I won't go back. The bouncer was rude and standoffish, which I understand is part of his job, but he was just mean. I asked the promoter if the band was still doing sound check, and she didn't know and wouldn't let us in. Eventually other people just walked in so we did too and she didn't say anything. The sound was really meh, it seemed like overall lack of quality was being made up for by sheer volume. I have also learned from other local promoters and musicians that the owner of the bar is a scummy landlord and fraudster. Avoid if you can.

Okay. Nive interior. Shameful treatment of the musicians with the squeakiest swing door and heaps of employees and patrons going in and out. Pricey beers, but beautiful.ambiance. cozy, snug, though not too divey.

Love coming to this spot for drinks and a show! We saw Mz Neon and Blood Red Shoes kick of onto a tour here. They had it in the small room right of the bar and it was intimate. and perfect.

I came here last Thursday to see Ayla Nereo perform which was wonderful! I had a great time and enjoyed the intimate venue. Only giving a 1 star review because I was charged double for my ticket (only noticed it on my bank account after the fact and I'm sure it was an accident). I'm sure it can be an easy fix but I have tried calling and emailing and no response. The phone # that's listed on yelp and Apple Maps is not accurate and the hours listed on both platforms are not congruent so I'm not sure when they're actually open and how best to get this seemingly simple issue resolved.

I used to love this place pre-pandemic. But between the sketchy PPP loan scam stuff + pretending to be a workers coop, etc. etc. + just being totally empty now... it's just not the same place. Such a shame as it used to have such a nice variety of music and programming.

They don't serve food. Located in a very sketchy area that feels incredibly unsafe. No food options nearby besides a Taco Bell that closes at 7pm unless you want to use the drive thru and be accosted by people for money while you wait for your food. Doors were supposed to open at 7 but they made us wait outside past that time and when they finally opened the doors the guy said "I guess you can come in...". Interior was quite underwhelming. We won't be back.
