Absolutely delicious pastries with unique flavors. The cardamom pistachio bun is unbelievable, and the kouign amanns are fantastic. I stop by regularly and still haven't tried everything. Also, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. The kind of bakery that this world needs more of!

Food was good. We were first customers in the a.m. so the place seemed a little like a morgue.

The cardamom pistachio twist and savory puff are excellent. Both vegetarian. Little pricey but worth it

There are lots of mediocre bakeries in the area, this is not one of them

I bought croissant and kouign amann. Taste very good, but not to my artery. I warmed them the next day in the oven, and saw them bubbling in butter. At my age, I can't afford this.

Wide variety of breads / pastries / savory baked goods. Selection will be semi sold out by 11 am. Kind staff and excellent lamination. Pretzel croissant was a highlight

Have really started liking their pastries, this was my first visit to their store. I usually just get to their stall at the local farmer market. They had quite a few variety and hard to beat them on freshness

Visited during kouign amann day. It was busy but customers were moving thru at a smooth pace. Great selection of kouign amanns. This bakery has either the best or some of the best kouign amanns in the Bay area. Free street parking in the neighborhood before 8am is nice.
Also got a croissant. The croissant was light and flaky but lacking in the buttery taste you normally would get from croissants.
Besides that, this place is definitely worth the stop.

Their pastries are excellent, some of the best in the area. Their breads are also delicious.
UPDATE 06/2024: An earlier version of this review got a couple things wrong. Their earlier problems with their iced tea have been fixed. When I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I misread "herb sauce" for "herb saus-AGE," which was my mistake not theirs. I continue to believe their london fog is not a London fog.
Great bakery. The best bubka!
