Very nice and welcoming staff!Ordered takeout on a slow night and felt very calm while waiting for my food.I had the pad see ew with pork and the spicy basil with chicken. Good amount of spice for me with an average spice tolerance palette. Lasted me two meals!

Just came back from eating. All I can do is share my experience:The place was clean however the air was smelly and stale. My waiter was friendly and helpful.I ordered the “special” Spicy Basil Thai Fried rice and was greeted with what looked like a pretty plate due to the presentation but very quickly I discovered that I had paid roughly $20 for some of the most generic and flavorless fried rice that I could have made 10x better at home. They keep this stuff frozen and just microwave it. The chicken was rubbery and completely flavorless (it is frozen with the rice long before, I got fed nothing fresh).I’m sure some other dishes are better here, but this was my experience tonight and I am not inspired to revisit sadly.

Ducked in from the rain and had a delicious yellow curry combo with chicken and drunken noodles with seafood for lunch. Very nice service and atmosphere.

All of our dishes were bland and lacked any flavor. Also pretty unfriendly service by the front desk picking up our order.

This is my second time here and they did not disappoint. I love places that are consistently good all around.I ordered the Green Thai Curry fried rice with chicken and mango pineapple curry. Both dishes were extremely flavorful and well portioned. When I went, the restaurant was fully packed but our waiter was extremely kind and attentive. I loved the ambiance and the decor of the place too. The chef even came out and checked in on us since things got a bit busy. I appreciate the hospitality here so so much. This is definitely my go to spot now. Great work Sukho Thai :)

Great pad kee mao. The green curry was not very flavorful though. Dishes are generally on the spicy side. They do a great job accommodating food allergies.Long wait time to pick up food, as the kitchen was backlogged.Nice atmosphere at the restaurant, and friendly staff.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options

This is the best Thai food in the Oakland area! My friends and I came here for a lovely dinner. Between the three of us, there were so many dietary restrictions (nut allergy, gluten free, vegan). We started off with Crispy Tofu and Vegetarian Spring Rolls. We shared several dishes: Vegetable Pad See Ew, Basil Eggplant and Pumpkin Curry. The kitchen and the servers were so thoughtful of the allergy and the dietary restrictions. All the dishes were delicious! I had Thai tea and it was really good; I thought it tasted pretty authentic! Jack (the owner and chef) is so sweet; he sent the most amazing Mango Sticky Rice to our table for dessert. Will definitely continue coming back and taking my friends here for great Thai food. I highly recommend coming here; the food is delicious and the staff is so kind, thoughtful and efficient.Dietary restrictions: The kitchen and staff are very thoughtful of allergies and not placing peanut sauce near the person allergic. They are also fantastic at recommending dishes for those who have dietary restrictions.

This place is my staple Thai restaurant (best I’ve personally found in NY and CA) for vegan pad Thai. Been coming here from in and out of state for 4 years and the food is consistently delicious. Its always challenging to find vegan Asian food and this place is a breath of fresh air, and the staff has always been very friendly. Highly recommend!

Came here to meet up with some friends and saw that Sukho Thai had pretty solid reviews. Service was pretty good, and the atmosphere is pretty standard. Food was great! Really great prices for Bay Area food (College Ave more so!) and when they say spicy, they mean spicy! Definitely would recommend!

Only been once and just got two things, so this is not a comprehensive review. Fresh rolls - some of the lettuce was wilted and turning brown in a way you could taste. They didn't hold together super well. Flavor was okay, could use more basil and the addition of mint. Some parts of the wrapper were so doughy it was kinda hard to chew. Disappointed they came with a sweet sauce instead of peanut sauce. Wonton soup - nice amount of veggies and decent broth. Light on the shrimps with only two in there. My real complaint is the chicken wontons. The chicken was garlicky but no ginger or any other flavors apparent. The wrappers seemed homemade, very doughy and thick, poorly shaped. The meat was generally half hanging out and then half of the dumping was a big dough clump. This place is a little cheaper than other places near by but not worth it IMO.

I ordered Vegan Pad Thai. The food was hot when arrived, they had Riesling wine too, and Wifi.

I was happy to see Sukho Thai reopen, however, the food is not the same. The fried tofu cubes in the Pad Thai were overly large and dry. The tofu used to be smaller before. Also the Pad Kee Mao was drenched in chili oil and unnecessarily hot. The spiciness dominated the entire dish and it was hard to taste anything else. Then the Papaya Salad was not spicy at all and so very bland. They have done away with lunch portions for the noodles and the amount of food received was generous, but I still prefer the flavors of the old Sukho Thai.
