I’ve been coming here for years (through a number of owner changes) and still return for the selection of dim sum standards. I love that there’s a baked bao with chicken instead of pork. The har gows (shrimp dumplings) are nice and plump! I also like to indulge and get the zongzi (sticky rice with pork, preserved egg yolk and lop chong). And the cocktail buns stuffed with sweet coconut are best warm, right out of the oven.

Sun Sing’s baked Char Siu Baos (BBQ pork buns) are no joke. Amply filled and delightfully sweet!

The best pork buns on earth! Meat in every bite. Sweet and savory...

Went to buy siomai and hakaw, dough was very thick hard to eat and the worst thing is the meat taste really old. Looks like they are selling dimsums that are days old.

Affordable tasty dim sum, couple of tables but you'll want to take it home or eat it at Jack London Square

Ben Heard

Tasty and cheap. Three small tables, not a great venue to sit and eat.

This baked pork bun is just about the best thing I've ever had. What they're known for.

Tried it today after trying nearby Tao Yuen a few days ago. Bought about $11 worth of dim sum and noodles. The dumpling skin is also thick here, and the few shrimp choices were ok, though seemed a little less fresh than TY. Good that they have chili sauce here unlike TY. Prices pretty much the same. Overall, I would go back to TY because the larger crowd there ensures more food turns over.

Came here on a Saturday for dim sum take-out. Great variety of selection for a small place. The bbq pork bun was somewhat fatty, the stuffed eggplant was too soft and overcooked, the wife's cake had thick dough surrounding the filling. Overall, taste of everything was ok. Great customer service though.

pork shu mei, potstickers, taro cake and Char Sui Bao are all really good. For taro cake try frying up and eating with a chili oil with black bean sauce

So delicious!! Their baked buns are delicious! If you don't eat pork they have baked chicken buns! The siu mai is delicious the green onion and meat potstickers are GIGANTIC and so so so so good! You don't even need to add any soy or hot sauce, perfect umami flavors! Sun Sing is cool!!!
